Brief Overview
Tridein was created by player Nyawul soon after joining the server, but only officially became a city when it gained its first resident, Hyperluminous, on July 8th 2025.
Tridein is a large complex of layered buildings located west of Mount Pespla on the border between Nexus North West and Nexus West. The larger complex is split into two distinct "cities" built in similar styles. The Great Walled City of Tridein, and The Greater Walled City of Tridein (formerly The Greater Tridein Frontier).
The cities are built in a brutalist architectural style. With the stated goal being to produce a mega-structure that future players could explore and enjoy.
The Great Walled City of Tridein
The original* structure is a 104x104 structure extending from y=61 to y=121. It contains 4 layers, although layer 2 and 4 are currently unused. The outer walls and layer floors/ceilings are constructed entirely out of stone brick and stone. A skylight in the center of the structure connects layer 1 and 3, as well as leading to the roof: layer 4.
Layer 1
The first layer is dedicated to the initial jungle flooring of the construction site, as well as the house of Hyperluminous and a small hut belonging to Nyawul, this layer will likely remain as a historical landmark, and as the initial tour location of the cities.
Layer 2
The second layer is currently empty, and mainly serves to enlarge the space between layer 1 and 3 for the benefit of the skylight.
Layer 3
The third layer is dedicated to a neo-noob wood building neighborhood, aiming to replicate the feeling of liminal spaces and providing a park for various visitors and residents to walk through.
Layer 4
The fourth layer is currently empty, with the exception of a stylized entry building providing access to the roof of the city, it is currently unknown if this area is planned to be used in the future.
The Greater Walled City of Tridein
The secondary structure is a 210x302 structure extending from y=64 to =y121. It contains a single large layer, and is primarily home to the City Proper, a large cluster of stone and stone brick buildings designed around the brutalist style and not intended to house residents. The outer walls and layer floor/ceiling are constructed entirely out of stone brick and stone. No skylight is present, although several alternative paths may access the roof of the structure.
Districts
Due to the expansive horizontal nature of the secondary structure, layer 1 is split into 4 distinct districts, which are separated by walls.
District 0
The zeroth (technically first) district is the primary entrance point of The Greater Walled City of Tridein, containing a multitude of empty plots, as well as allowing access to District 1, District 2, District 3, and District 4.
District 1
The first district is constructed into the west-most wall, consisting of several slum-like interconnected vertical buildings, as well as the Tridein Office of Low Income Housing. It also contains an observation deck on the topmost floor, allowing view over District 1
District 2
The second district is constructed into the border wall between District 0 and District 3 and 4. It is similar to District 1 in construction with a large amount of vertical buildings. And it contains an open roof on the topmost floor.
District 3
The third district is the second largest, and most constructed district so far. Containing the Tridein Services Management Complex, as well as the City Proper containing a large amount of varied buildings.
District 4
The fourth district is the largest, and most recently completed district, currently a large stone platform filled with torches. It is planned to be the future site of a dense urban slum, as well as several entrances deeper and higher into the City.
