Whopperopolis is a city founded by getplayerhead.sh?Toadally&16.png Toadally, getplayerhead.sh?bonkd&16.png bonkd, and getplayerhead.sh?KinneyforOregon&16.png KinneyforOregon on March 29, 2023. It is located on the site of a former swamp, and is the site of many medium to large-scale builds.

Founding of Whopperopolis

getplayerhead.sh?Toadally&16.png Toadally, alongside getplayerhead.sh?KinneyforOregon&16.png KinneyforOregon ventured out of spawn on March 29, 2023 from Takadokia to Whopperopolis's current location. Notably, this is before either of them knew about Project Anubis or any transportation network other than the Warps. Once the plot of land was settled on, getplayerhead.sh?bonkd&16.png bonkd joined and filled in the remaining area of the swamp with dirt. A few days later, the Whopperopolis Main Street was created, and soon after came Fallyc Tower, the first building in Whopperopolis.

Naming Origin

The name "Whopperopolis" did NOT come from the Burger King advertisements. "Whopperopolis" has a somewhat long history from the community in which many of the people of Whopperopolis are from. The original residents of the city come from Let's Do Elections (abbreviated LDE), a Discord server which has been running a mock government simulation for over 2 years as of April 2023. Over those two years, there were three iterations of LDE: appropriately named LDE1, LDE2, and LDE3. For all three iterations, getplayerhead.sh?Toadally&16.png Toadally acted as Owner and mainly operated as the lead developer of the bot. Often, the admin team of LDE would create fake "characters" to have fun when they couldn't actively participate. In June 2022, getplayerhead.sh?Toadally&16.png Toadally decided to create an NPC character named "Whopper King", a 60-year old man from Newfoundland with the face of Dick Cheney. Quickly, Whopper King gained popularity as a less serious, light-hearted and wholesome character that would get involved in illegal activities. Whopper King was involved in many antics on LDE2, including his death and subsequent resurrection, and his operation of an illegal drug cartel in Central America by the President's request. When the Burger King Whopper ads gained popularity in early 2023, Whopper King soared in notoriety. Community members decided to make a Minecraft server, where the main town was named Whopperopolis. This name carried over to the Whopperopolis on MinecraftOnline.

How to Get There

Whopperopolis currently has three main methods of transport.

  • By Boat
    • Whopperopolis is served by the Whopper King Route, a branch of the Mushiana and Quarantum lines.
  • By Foot
    • Whopperopolis connects to a nearby dirt path to its south.
  • By Nether

List of Buildings

  • Fallyc Tower
    • The first building in Whopperopolis, a 126-block tall concrete skyscraper which has an unfortunate unintended phallic look.
  • Unnamed Spiral Tower
    • The third building, a build-limit height circular tower with rainbow spiral sections spanning the entire height.
  • Whopperopolis City Hall & Museum
    • A building largely inspired by the White House; contains the Nexus and Nether portals, as well as a museum detailing the many events of Let's Do Elections.
