Youngstown is an unfinished midwestern US industrial town that was started by JimyHendricks in January of 2023. The town is located north of Dubina near the coast.
History
Early History
In January of 2023, JimyHendricks started the town setting out to construct an old riverside-industrial town that had started to fall into decay in some areas. By mid January terraforming had progressed enough for buildings to start being constructed. Eventually other projects and Jimy's eventual indefinite hiatus from minecraft put the town on hold. Remaining an unmarked location on the north shore of Navarro (Region) until this wiki page was later created. At some point settlers moved in nearby and set up bases and the nexus borderland road was put in passing nearby.
2025-Present
Txkeykeeper had previously envisioned a Dubina stretching far enough to the north to meet up with Youngstown, however prior to Dubina's massive expansion boom beginning in 2024 this seemed unlikely. Eventually with the construction of Dubina Stadium and the nearby urban district to follow, that far fetched dream started to become more real. Txkeykeeper set out to begin establishing the region to the north, simply labeled 'North Dubina' at the time, by stretching out roads. the first of which stretched all the way into Youngstown. In late march of 2025, Txkey started a series of rowhouses located along one of these new roads couple hundred meters south of Youngstown.
At the end of April, upon finding a youtube channel filled with related ideas, Txkey decided on building a retail district just north of Dubina composed of stores that no longer exist IRL. With the construction of this district, the gap shrank. Dubina was coming for Youngstown, and fast.
July of 25 brought Dubinas first planned suburban neighborhood, located right at the end of Youngstown's mainstreet. With that, Youngstown became an official suburb of Dubina, with plans being made to add more houses and revitalize the old downtown.
