The Beginnings
Eirenopolis was born out of the need for a city organized around the ideals of peace and freedom. The people are at the heart of society, ensuring the well-being of the community. To build a utopian civilization, 2B2T might not have been the best choice—as you can imagine😆—so we opted for MCO, a long-standing server (almost the oldest!) that was created after the release of Minecraft Alpha, when only oak trees existed. It was the perfect server, not least because of the spirit that surrounds it: griefing simply has no place here! Eirenopolis was founded on August 12, 2026, by mariobuffo, on the northwestern edge of the map, at coordinates approximately -1400; 70; -18700. When the Italian player mariobuffo arrived there, the area already contained the houses of 
Kolyandrik, a Belarusian player. For the sake of consistency, mariobuffo built his house in a style similar to Kolyandrik’s, and then constructed mariobuffo's Tower, from which one could admire the view of the few houses and the unspoiled nature. Two days later, julianusjocopus, a friend of mariobuffo's, arrived. He began building his house and gathering materials to construct Topo Castle, named for its monotonous gray color (Topo means “mouse” in Italian).
While mariobuffo was escorting another player 4CH1ILL3X to Eirenopolis, he happened to start chatting with the Italian player Matteo_180, who, along with 
Falling_Knife, suggested moving Topo Castle closer to the plains so as not to bother Kolyandrik. So he helped julianusjocopus build his house and built one for himself behind mariobuffo’s, striking up a friendship with the Eirenopolis community.
New citizens
08/19/2026. 4CH1LL3X, IQInfinity52, and Akzai—all Italian players—arrive in Eirenopolis through the Nexus portals, build their homes, and 4CH1LL3X proposes founding a true nation; thus, the Republic of Eirene is born. 4CH1LL3X, having found a suitable location, founded Eleutheriopolis—the “city of freedom” in ancient Greek—to align with the name of the capital, Eirenopolis. Thus, the “Osteria Pasta e Basta” was established, where members of the Eirenopolis parliament would gather to make important decisions over a delicious plate of pasta! A religion and a flag were also created. Sassism was chosen as the religion, so Topo Castle was transformed into a Sassist temple. And the flag is yellow, symbolizing freedom; white, symbolizing peace; and red, symbolizing communism. Matteo_180 built a room listing the names of the citizens, who numbered six at that point. It was the beginning of the Republic Of Eirene, the state of peace and freedom.
The first president
On August 29, the population had exceeded 10, and a president was needed. Thus, after a long election campaign, mariobuffo was elected as the first president of the Republic of Eirene. Matteo_180 and 4CH1LL3X were elected as councilors. On August 31, mariobuffo, Matteo_180, and 4CH1LL3X officially drafted the Constitution of the Republic of Eirene, enshrining its values of peace and freedom, which would endure until the end of time.
The Alliance
The news on August 29 didn’t end there: mariobuffo founded PIPAPE—PIzzaPAstaPEace—a supranational alliance, a sort of UN, that would guarantee peace and stability in Freedonia. By the very next day, Milva and Chateauneuf-lès-Fontaines had already joined, and PIPAPE’s frenetic pace would not slow down. mariobuffo built a large assembly hall with expansive windows and geometric architecture, and a white flag—a symbol of peace—was chosen as its banner.
The first ban
On August 31, Gio20122015 one of our earliest members was banned for spamming (unfairly). He posted the same message six times in the chat to let mariobuffo know something (since mariobuffo was AFK), and was banned without warning; he is now trying to appeal his ban.
The ERS
The first line of the ERS (EireneRailwaySystem) was completed on September 17, 2026. Connecting Eleutheriopolis Central to Eirenopolis Central, it marked the beginning of the government’s efforts to establish a Nexus.
Another step forward was the construction of Mocanda Avenue, which leads to the sea, where a boat route passes.
