Introduction to Isshoni Hachi

Welcome to a new, quickly expanding, and story driven district currently known as Isshoni Hachi.
The district is located in the southern new lands of Freedonia. It is built in the Northwest area of Neo Tokyo. The district, translated from Japanese as "Together Eight", is founded, hand-designed, and built by getplayerhead.sh?Mr_Fudgy&16.png Mr_Fudgy. This district was started on October 18th, 2019 and is currently ongoing.
If you are looking for a place to get absorbed into the story-line and to discover all of the nooks and crannies too (including the secrets) - Isshoni Hachi is the place for you!

Direction to Isshoni Hachi

  1. Nexus Link - Enter the main nexus hub through the Visitor Centre at spawn. Go onto the South Lime pad. Head to the first nexus pad which says "New Eden". Stand on the warp pillar which also says the towns name. Welcome!
  2. Nether Link - There will be a link to every town via nether portals after the towns are built.
  3. Ice Road Link - There will be a link to every town via ice roads after the towns are built.

Rules / Contract

Free building inside the borders of Isshoni Hachi without permission will possibly result in either a ban from the server or a relocation of your build. This is due to Isshoni Hachi constantly growing within its borders and therefore has rights to the land inside the borders.

Perm Rights

getplayerhead.sh?Mr_Fudgy&16.png Mr_Fudgy decided that the district would not be a place for "Free Build" in order to preserve the districts style and keep it organized. Thus Fudgy asks no one attempt to build unto his property as it will mess with the flow of the build and mess up the story-line.

The Land Extensions

Original Extension

The Original Extension happened a few days after jossps let Fudgy start building the district. After jossps saw how well Fudgy built, he gave Fudgy an extra smaller district that was just across the river. Fudgy accepted this with great thanks and continued on work.

The Accidental Extension

The Accidental Extension was a huge mistake however. On Black Friday 2019, Fudgy expanded his land by himself just a bit in order to complete a full wall around his district. Fudgy thought nothing of this because he was building into the Roofed Forest and Extreme Hills biomes that jossps said he did not want. However, when jossps saw this, he proceeded to give Fudgy the entire mountain range and told him to build small villages around the hills and terra-form the rivers around them. Fudgy is still reeling from this day and regrets building that small expansion.

Backstory of the District

A long, long time ago, when Neo Tokyo was just beginning, the Vetus ad Novum district was created. This district served as a catch all of areas to serve the ever-growing population of citizens while keeping them protected inside the walls. It also stood as a testament to what could be built inside Neo Tokyo in a grandiose way. However, luck would not have it that way. One dark, stormy day, the rains began. The rains raised the river levels ten-fold and massive parts of Neo Tokyo were washed away. What came to be known as "Magnum Diluvium", or The Great Flood, completely washed away the only complete district and killed hundreds who were living inside it walls. The surviving group of twenty-five only did so by climbing to the top of the district's greatest height, The Western Mountain. The rains lasted for months and completely flooded the flatland. So, in order to keep the surviving members safe, they started to build a village on top of the mountains. But when some of them started to disagree, they split up from the main group. Seven groups of three split from the main survivors in order to start their own villages and towns. The remaining four members of the main group banded together to survive.

When the waters receded (mostly), the group exited from the Western Mountains and descended unto the city. After the bodies were collected, nobody knew what to do next. Do they scrap the city and start anew or do they leave and never return? However, one lone figure rose to the occasion... getplayerhead.sh?Mr_Fudgy&16.png Mr_Fudgy. Fudgy gathered the remaining individuals and together started to rebuild Vetus ad Novum to its old state. During this process, a unanimous decision for Fudgy to be mayor and leader of the new district was made. The district was rebuilt in the matter of a year and all were content. That was until a new technology came into effect: dikes. Dikes were being used to reclaim land covered by water (as part of Vetus ad Novum still was at the time). Fudgy and the citizens of the district banded together and created a large dike thus giving them back the remaining land that was taken by the flood. All of the buildings that once stood there were still, surprisingly, intact and the area serves as evidence to what happened and how the district grew from it. Since then, repairs were made to the existing structures in both sections of the district and Vetus ad Novum is once again a bustling district.

After a few years, Fudgy started to try and reconcile with the seven villages and towns spread across the Western Mountains. A short time after starting, he heard back from four of the seven (Lumihuippuiset, Trank Landung, Shíèr Shēngxiào Gŭ, and Ta-no-Kami Kougen) who all agreed to bring lands together to make the district stronger, but also clear up tensions. The remaining three were harder to talk with. Paráktia Monaxiá had extreme hesitations because they thought Vetus was just trying to conquer their land and Piolet de Montagne still wanted nothing to do with Vetus. Fudgy also learned in this progress, that the last group of survivors, who founded Pradera Exuberante, ended up being destroyed by an invading force who was later destroyed by the other six towns and villages. However, after a while, both of the remaining villages accepted Fudgy's pleas and brought their lands together. Thus, the Western Mountains now belonged to the district and everyone was reunited forever under the new district name "Isshoni Hachi". The End... for now.

Location Index

Each of the eight villages or towns has their own name, language translations, and export. Together they create a fully functioning society. The following are the locations of each town and village, their specifications, the dates started and completed, and what they hold inside of them:

This section of the district includes:

Septem Turres

Septem Turres, or "The Seven Towers", are as the name suggests, the seven towers scattered across the Southern Novum section of the district. Each of these towers were created for the sole purpose of looking out over the land and to replace the fallen towers after the flood. Each of the Turres have a different name relating to their placement in the district.

  • Periculosum Negotium (Dangerous Business)
  • Extremum Vetus (The Tip of The Old)
  • Custos Murum (The Guardian of the Wall)
  • Primum Aedificavit (The First Built)
  • Imminens Pontem (Overlooking the Bridge)
  • Vigilantes in Pretorium (Watching the Town Hall)
  • Stans Contra Historia (Standing Against History)

Equus Domus

Equus Domus, or "Horse House", is a small stable located across from Sola Angulo. This stable was the first of its kind built inside the district and there are many more planned in order to connect to every place. This stable is still available to travelers but is on a first come first serve as there are only two spots.

Sola Angulo

Sola Angulo, also known as "The Lonely Corner", is a small tavern located just inside the Eastern entrance. This tavern used to be bustling with visitors when the district started to rebuild after the flood. However, once buildings like "Tower" and "Inn" started being placed around it, it quickly became mostly forgotten by the district. Now only a few loyal customers remain.

Vocatus Plana

Vocatus Plana, or "Alcohol Flat", is a small home located directly across from Sola Angulo. This house was built after Fudgy realized the tavern owner was sleeping inside his own building and did not have a real place to stay.

Flumen Visum

Flumen Visum, or "Riverside View", is a decently sized inn located next to Sola Angulo. This inn was the first built after the great flood in order to have a safe place for residents to live. While old, the inn still welcomes visitors and allows them board for the night.

Fluminis Parte Foro

Fluminis Parte Foro, also known as "River Side Market", is a decently sized market located through the archway in Flumen Visum. This market has eight stalls, all selling different things. Their names and what they sell are located below:

  • Fornice Sagitta (Arched Arrow)
  • Pulchra Arcus (Beautiful Bows)
  • Gladium Stabulo (The Sword Stall)
  • Scutum Stare (Shield Stand)
  • Galeam Caelo (Helmet Heaven)
  • Pectore Urbem (Chest City)
  • In Ocreas Vultus (The Leggings Look)
  • Tabernus Banco (Boot Bench)

Sub Terram

Sub Terram, or "Under the Ground", is a hobbit style inn that lies underneath Flumen Visum. It holds five rooms which can call be rented (as in if you want one you get one forever). It was built when a few miners were bored and decided to dig around and then use the support beams as a start to an inn.

Lapis Pistrinum

Lapis Pistrinum, also known as the "Stone Bakery", is, as it sounds, a bakery made from stone that is located across from Sub Terram. It was created to give the citizens sweet treats after the whole town was rebuilt.

Ferrum Incudem

Ferrum Incudem, also known as "The Iron Anvil", is a blacksmith located in the center of the town. This was built in order to supply the market with stuff to sell after it got expensive to import items from around the world.

Flos Potentia

Flos Potentia, or "Flower Power", is a flower shop and greenhouse located directly across from Ferrum Incudem and is the home of most every flower and plant inside the world. It was built when an individual wanted to remind everyone of the good times the town had before the flood.

Flumen Lux

Flumen Lux, also known as "River Light", is the lighthouse that stands atop the hill close to the very center of the district. It was part of the original district and, with a few renovations, stays standing atop the hill. Legends say that the light itself still works and that the old light-keeper lives somewhere inside.

Tenet Aqua

Tenet Aqua, or "Holds Water", is a small well located next to Ferrum Incudem. It was designed after all three shops in the middle of town needed water in some sort of way for some reason or another.

Tentorium Reos

Tentorium Reos, also known as "Hanging Criminals", is a gallows designed and made specifically for the invading army that destroyed Pradera Exuberante. As of writing, only a few remaining members of that army remain and are being hunted down for sport.

Memoria Gero

Memoria Gero, or "Memory Carriage", is a carriage that is located near Tentorium Reos and Tenet Aqua. While this carriage was not built by the citizens of Isshoni Hachi, it was collected in the rubble of Pradera Exuberante and was restored to its former glory.

Majorem Domum and Pretorium

Majorem Domum, "Mayor Home", and Pretorium, "Town Hall", are a singular building, the bottom half being the Town Hall and the upper half being the home of acting mayor getplayerhead.sh?Mr_Fudgy&16.png Mr_Fudgy. Located close to the district center, this was the very last building to be built on this side of the river as Fudgy was too dedicated to help out the flood victims than to help himself.

In Tredecim Piscator

In Tredecim Piscator, or "The Thirteen Fish", is a fishing shack located on the river between two towers. Before it was built, two citizens caught thirteen fish in that sport in one day, thus leading to it being called the "Thirteen Fish".

The Fudgmeister

The Fudgmeister is a small boat which is always docked at In Tredecim Piscator. It was built when the citizens of the town decided to give Fudgy a present after all he had done for the town.

Trabes in Caelum

Trabes in Caelum, also known as "Beam in the Sky", is the gazebo located on the far end of the district. It was built as a tribute to the water in order to save the district from another flood. The tribute still lasts as the beam blasts into the sky all day long.

Via ad Historiam

Via ad Historiam, or "The Road to History", is the bridge spanning the distance across the river in the district. It is complete with two passages through them, an upper floor with a special surprise, and a small room for the old bridge maintainers.

Aquas Secreta

Aquas Secreta, or "The Waters Secrets", is the first thing you will see once passing over Via ad Historiam. It was believed that if the district harnessed the powers of the water, they would never have a flood again... so far it has "worked". However, as the name suggests, this fountain holds a lot more to it than just water.
