This is the unofficial design for a flag representing MCO. First created by on getplayerhead.sh?_SkyFalls&16.png _SkyFalls 5/24/2023, it went through many redesigns before being finalized on 5/27/2023 with two designs representing two eras of MCO, that being t.

Meaning/Symbolism

The finalized (unofficial) flag of MCO (2019-Present)

The overall color pallet of the flag is representative and taken from the MCO logo. They are arranged in a diagonal pattern as a way of representing upward progress towards the future. The combination of brown and white represents the importance of the natural terrain of MCO as it has existed for over a decade, and the two blue tones adjacent represent the vast oceans of MCO. The star in the corner is a representation of the North Star, often used in media and literature as a symbol of travel and direction, which is directly parallel to how the nexus in MCO is a staple of the server, and every player uses it to travel. The star itself is reminiscent of the nexus, in that it branches into multiple directions.

Other interpretations

You can make other interpretations of this flag, and of course it's subjective, but these are some other interpretations that work with it. The brown can be representative of the megastructures and projects those on MCO commit to, added with the white representing peace after finishing those projects. The two different blocks of colors, the blue/blue and white/brown, can be representative of the two different terrain types in MCO, that being the vast oceans separating land, and it gives a feeling of night/day. It's more up to you what it represents, but these are the interpretations I identify with it.

Time

The two flags are representative of different times in MCO, reflective of their design. (I.E. the 2019-Now flag has a more modern design).
