Project MOON is a massive city located in the western ocean, but it actually began in the northeast. A forgotten stalemate has left the original Neighbor Luna and Lunar Vault a backwater only visited by historians. In the year 2022, a small museum and entrance platform was built to welcome travelers to explore what once was.
The Beginning of Project MOON
- Project MOON began in July 2016 after a long venture out to the old Rules Hallway from Spawn. The Lunar Vault was created to be an underground safe haven from the monsters of the outside world, originally taking inspiration from the styles of Fallout Vaults and the City of Ember. After work began, other settlers made the long migration and started settling in the same neighborhood.
SkullBuilderX and 
7_1 took up residence with Skully's Island Legacy and 7_1's Outpost. Together, these builds were to be connected by a large circular road with a monument representing unification in the middle. This was the original Neighbor Luna, a small footnote compared to what it became.
The Land Feud
- One year into the project, progress came to a grinding halt when a notorious troll by the name of
Dethsh0k made it his personal mission to impede the progress of the original founders. He would camp out in the Village Room, killing anyone who dared approach to work. He also would use invisibility potions to loiter until someone opened a chest before stealing all the supplies and subsequently destroying them. It became even worse when two other players, 
Pepsolman and 
Billshields started constructing a town directly above Project MOON. N-Town was built presenting itself with racist and sexual imagery, deterring anyone from visiting. A slow territory war continued as N-Town continued its goal of impeding progress by purposefully building into the path of Neighbor Luna. It even began to attach itself over time, ensuring that Project MOON would be as dead in the water as possible. After a surprising ban of Dethsh0k a month later though, Pepsolman betrayed N-Town and Billshields and began demolishing any additions he had created. Stating that he only got involved to avoid the wrath of Dethsh0k, his new intent was to ensure the future of Project MOON and began fighting with Billshields over ownership. Ultimately, it was still impossible to progress. But thanks to the efforts of 
Krenath, Project MOON was relocated to its modern-day location and was able to begin anew.
Rememberance
- In January 2022, a small museum platform was built atop the original vault. Open to boat travel, it tells the story of the infamous land feud and allows people to explore the historic site.
