ZJTrayGamingYT.(This is a page dedicated to this particular section of Nebulus. Please refer there for more information of other sections.)
The Moss Garden (named after the instrumental song Moss Garden off of "Heroes" by art rock artist David Bowie) is the second spin-off that has had no prior planning before the Raid on Nebulus, and is (planned to be) the largest section within Nebulus as a whole.
The idea of the Moss Garden was to create a gargantuan space to have loads of auto-farms, farming crops (such as wheat, carrots, potatoes), flowers (such as poppies, alliums, tulips), and wood types (such as oak, acacia, birch), along with leaves and miscellaneous farmable materials (nether wart, chorus fruit, sugar cane, vines, cocoa beans, etc.). The goal of the structure is to illicit respect and admiration of the Black Starwalkers from the general MCO community, allowing them to finally be admired for the excellent designers and builders they are.
It was officially started on September 25th, 2025, and is still currently under construction. It is currently 11% completed. It is planned to be a ginormous area of auto-farms for crops, flowers, and tree types.
There is an expansion planned for it that will start sometime after the 1.21.1 Server Update that will supposedly be happening in the near future, but the default structure needs to be fully completed before this occurs.
History
Second Era
On October 27th, 2024, following a huge plan created by
ZJTrayGamingYT of what to do following the then planned resurgence of the Black Starwalkers, the Moss Garden is planned to extensive detail.
Third Era
Following an actual idea being set in place for the Moss Garden, from September 14th, 2025, to September 25th, 2025,
ZJTrayGamingYT and
Ervoss properly plan the entire structure out with a floor plan, along with designs for "segments", "the Hub", and connecting "bridges".
The Hub
Excavations of the Hub
(September 27th, 2025 - November 9th, 2025)
Construction started with
ZJTrayGamingYT's initial breaking of blocks on September 25th, 2025, with
Ervoss assisting as well, before timing out. After starting it,
BuffaloBom,
Revcha, and
Fiery007 began working on it, with
1d3a helping later. Massive excavations were completed, and by the time
Ervoss fixed his timeout bug by September 26th, 2025, even more work was completed.
From September 27th, 2025, to November 9th, 2025, mainly
Fiery007 and
BuffaloBom mined out a ginormous amount of the Hub area, with it's excavation being completed late in the day on November 9th, 2025.
It was done with some help from
1d3a,
Revcha,
igorex95,
spacecool,
Ervoss,
ZJTrayGamingYT, and some small help from
kubixolus,
XeonProductions,
Hyperluminous and
AlexGamerReborn. Mods
abamacus and
MrSlimeDiamond also assisted in draining lava in some parts of the Hub when it was being excavated.
Within this time period, multiple things were discovered within the Moss Garden's Hub area, while it was being excavated, and a few things were done:
- September 27th, 2025:
Revcha discovers the first part of a large Mineshaft, that sprawls across a ravine within the Moss Garden's Hub - September 30th, 2025:
BuffaloBom discovers a Dungeon - October 6th, 2025:
BuffaloBom discovers a Fossil within the walls of the Moss Garden's Hub - October 7th - 12th, 2025:
igorex95 cures multiple Zombie Villagers and makes villager areas to trade with them
From October 30th, to November 1st, 2025, Mod
bawest used his GOD powers to excavate what was left of the Moss Garden's Hub, which was around a quarter of the original size. He completely hollowed it out, leaving only ores that needed to be taken care of, which were over the following eight days.
Constructing the Hub
(November 9th, 2025 - November 13th, 2025)
At the end of November 9th, 2025, the excavation was cleared, and construction began. The beginning of the southern black bridge portion of the Hub was created, with the face of the bridge being completed and the pillars supporting it being partially finished. It was first started by
ZJTrayGamingYT,
Fiery007, and
XeonProductions assisting with it's initial creation.
Over the course of the next two days, with the work of
Fiery007, and later
ZJTrayGamingYT and
Ervoss, by November 11th, 2025, the Southern Black Bridge was entirely completed. The Eastern Green bridge was started the same day, being completed by November 12th, 2025. The Red and Blue bridges also began construction, with
ZJTrayGamingYT finishing the faces of them on November 12th, 2025.
By the end of November 12th, 2025, with
Fiery007's,
ZJTrayGamingYT's,
Ervoss',
BuffaloBom's, and a bit of
AlexGamerReborn's help, all connecting bridges and their underground pillars were completed, along with the hub's center area itself; leaving only the dome held above the hub as the only thing left to finish. That was started that same day, and into November 13th, 2025, and was finished earlier that morning.
Following it's full completion, the rest of the day was spent doing minor things: partially anchoring the now floating mineshaft to the ceiling, anchoring the floating dungeon to the ceiling as well, and moving temporary storage over to the upcoming Blue Anchor Segment's entrance.
Ervoss completes the Hub's entrance on November 18th, 2025, and
ZJTrayGamingYT continued what
BuffaloBom started with anchoring the now floating mineshaft to the ceiling on the same day, still working on it.
After having been completed for nine days, on November 22nd, 2025,
Cosmic_potato_04 //sets the entire floor of the hub to lava (at
ZJTrayGamingYT's request), greatly improving the aesthetics of the area.
Blue Segment
Blue's Excavations
(November 18th, 2025 - )
After the Hub was fully constructed on the morning of November 13th, 2025, everyone had a small break for five days, before Blue was officially started on November 18th, 2025, with the first blocks being broken by
ZJTrayGamingYT and
XeonProductions.
From November 19th, 2025 onward, mainly
Fiery007 and
BuffaloBom have been excavating a ginormous amount of the Blue Segment, with them progressing it to be closer and closer to being finished.
It is estimated that the Blue Segment will possibly conclude it's excavations (hopefully) sometime in late December to early January, but this is off of an estimated guess at it's current pace.
