Summary
The Zelda Map is an explorable scale model of the original Overworld map from The Legend of Zelda, the original NES game that came out in 1986.
Features
The Zelda Map stays true to the original 2D nature of the original with cell layouts, down to the block. However this map has been given a third dimension, with tall trees, majestic cliffsides and dangerous drops. Many of the secret caves and staircases have been re-created on the map, along with dungeon and shop entrances. Players can experience the map in first person, and see much what Link would have seen. The cell borders are laid out to prevent players from leaving the map by climbing over the terrain.
Plans
More caves and hidden secrets are being added as time permits.
Music will be added at key locations to increase the immersion.
There are rumors that each of the 9 dungeons will be created in scale to allow further exploration at the map.
