What is Azkaban?
Azkaban is a crazy idea thought up by Slime_tiger when 
ScarClaw72 was coming up with names that wouldn't ping 
Anna_28 when talking about her. Scar came up with AzkabANNA and Slime said "LETS BUILD AZKABAN" Scar didn't want to start any big projects so Slime said he would do it himself, and 
Adalex3 also offered to help. ickyacky has also helped a ton, along with KevinGriffioen
How we get the obsidian
At first, Slime used an obsidian maker provided by Bowbyslag that only used one bucket of lava and lots of Redstone dust. Slime mined about 2,000 obsidian with an eff v pick and haste 2, but the blocks were all affected by block lag. Slime was starting to go insane(although his sanity was already questionable), so he decided he would be even more insane, and trapped a wither to break obsidian for him. This design meant you had to place lava buckets by hand, and many runs to the nether for lava were necessary. Bowby provided a lot of buckets to help. With the help of 
doublehelix457, the gen was made fully automatic with craftbook magic. The wither is now named Eclipse because the day Slime got it, there was an eclipse. He served his purpose well.
On June 18, 2018, Eclipse was slaughtered by 
IvanLeshev. After brief mourning Slime spawned in a new wither, named Ceres, after the dwarf planet. Ceres was brutally murdered by 
44trent3. A new wither named Sara was spawned in, and then some dick killed it. A fourth wither named Aurora was spawned.
WaffleNomster supplied 4000 obsidian to the cause in June 2019
Due to griefers using withers to mess stuff up, withers no longer break obsidian, and attempts to keep the wither alive were halted.
After a lull in progress, WaffleNomster donates his entire hoard of ~100,000 obsidian to Slime. Slime places around 25,000 of the blocks in one day.
