Judicial Panel Rulings & Decisions
The rulings & decisions made by the judicial panel during the official court proceedings (in chronological order):
jriver_15:
“RULING FROM THE PANEL: This court will not consider addition grief as a charge or allow it to be used in argument. Addition grief is an MCO staff dispute not a town staff dispute. it is to be assumed Glut had perms and did not addition grief. And as there is no objection to this from the mayor of the town with ultimate permissions, this ruling seems reasonable.”
KingServal:
Simplified Version:
The court will not accept "addition grief" as a charge or argument. This is an issue between MCO staff, not town staff. We assume Glut had permission and did not commit addition grief. Since the town's mayor (who has final say) has no objections, this decision is fair.
Closing Statements
Juror Instructions
Instructions from deputy judge jriver_15:
- “Juror Instruction: This court will not consider addition grief as a charge or allow it to be used in argument. Addition grief is an MCO staff dispute not a town staff dispute. it is to be assumed Glut had perms and did not addition grief. And as there is no objection to this from the mayor of the town with ultimate permissions, this ruling seems reasonable. In all deliberations, take it that Glutus had permissions to place the blocks”
Jury Deliberations
Most of the early jury deliberations was in regards to the exact crimes that GlutusMaximus_ was being accused of. There was worry that the defendant may have been in violation of the MCO rules regarding addition grief. However, the court gave a ruling and jury instruction that stated it is to be assumed that the defendant did not break the MCO addition grief rule.

Extrajudicial Context
On the evening of July 30, 2025, when KingServal joined the MCO server,
GlutusMaximus_ made a joke that
baltxe wanted him (
GlutusMaximus_
) banned.
Chat Logs (toggle)
<GlutusMaximus_> baltxe wanted me ban so hard lol <
KingServal> why glutus <
GlutusMaximus_> idk <
GlutusMaximus_> just a sad guy <
KingServal> balt, your side? <
KingServal> who attacked first
This sparked the initial debate on who attacked first in the fight between baltxe and
GlutusMaximus_.
GlutusMaximus_ claimed that he had told
baltxe that he had a low durability chest plate and that
baltxe then followed him around trying to attack him.
KingServal went on to tell
GlutusMaximus_ that
baltxe is a Socorro resident, implying that there should have never been a fight between the two of them. It was then that
GlutusMaximus_ claimed self-defense.
KingServal demanded that peace is made or this incident will be sent to the Socorro Supreme Court for review.
It was then that GlutusMaximus_ stated that he would never attack a Socorro guy.
Hyperluminous would interject and state that he was attacked by
GlutusMaximus_ earlier that day, even though
Hyperluminous is a Socorro resident and foreign ambassador.
Chat Logs (toggle)
<GlutusMaximus_> KingServal sir <
KingServal> i thought all matters were settled with that <
KingServal> wsp glutus <
GlutusMaximus_> you know i will never attack a Socorro guy <
Hyperluminous> HUH <
GlutusMaximus_> but he follow me aroudn spawn, pink nexus, and to socorro <
Hyperluminous> GLUTUS YOU ATTACKED ME <
GlutusMaximus_> when i told him i would fix my armor at socorro <
Hyperluminous> I have a house and embassy at Socorro <
GlutusMaximus_> Hyper you werent at socorro
It seemed that GlutusMaximus_ did not realize that
Hyperluminous was referring to earlier in the day and not during the incident involving
baltxe.
GlutusMaximus_ also may not have been aware that
Hyperluminous was a resident of Socorro.
After that, GlutusMaximus_ continued to claim that
baltxe initiated the fight.
KingServal asked
baltxe to explain his side of the story.
baltxe claimed that
GlutusMaximus_ started the fight and then started to run away, prompting
baltxe to tell him not to run.
GlutusMaximus_ denied running away and said that the fight started at spawn. Then, he was getting attacked at the Nexus after stating his armor needed repairs and that he was going to Socorro to repair it. He said that
baltxe kept following him around and attacking him. Then after some time, they made it to the brick house at Socorro where
GlutusMaximus_ used end crystals in PvP against
baltxe.
KingServal asked
baltxe if he attacked
GlutusMaximus_ in Socorro and
baltxe responded “Yes, but self defense”.
GlutusMaximus_ also stated that
baltxe stated that he recorded the fight so that
GlutusMaximus_ could get banned.
At that point, KingServal asked
baltxe if he could share the video with him in the Socorro discord server. It was then this officially turned into a Socorro Supreme Court case.
Extrajudicial Statements
Statement from Hyperluminous:
- “A few days ago
GlutusMaximus_ attacked
baltxe and had him trapped at /warp maze. Being that
baltxe is a fellow member of the Black Starwalkers,
Ervoss and I had to go defend him. Despite calling in a favor, which
GlutusMaximus_ owed me from when I voluntarily gave him my player head a few days prior, he did not relent. However, in the end
baltxe was able to escape and no player was killed. The day of this current incident, however,
GlutusMaximus_ attacked me at Nexus Central because I defended
baltxe the other day.”
Definitions
List of definitions for certain words/language used during this court case & on this wiki page (in alphabetical order—toggle):
Cause of Action
The cause of action is the legal reason or basis for a lawsuit (e.g., breach of contract, assault).
Defendant
A defendant is the individual, or collective, that legal action is brought against.
In this specific case, defendant GlutusMaximus_ was brought to court by plaintiff
baltxe’s legal action of the accusation of assault and provoking a fight in the city of Socorro.
Deliberation
Deliberation refers to the private process by which careful and thoughtful discussion and consideration of evidence by a jury (or a group, such as a judge panel or legislative body) is performed for deciding the outcome of a case, charge, or issue.
However, in this specific case, the deliberations were not a private process. The plaintiff, defendant, and panel of judges were able to see the jury’s deliberation process in its entirety.
Discovery
Discovery is the pre-trial process where both sides in a legal dispute exchange information and evidence relevant to the case.
However, discovery in this specific case will refer to evidence provided to the panel of judges during the case before it is admitted in trial for the jurors to see.
Extrajudicial
Extrajudicial typically refers to action or context outside of the authority or proceedings of a court of law.
For this specific docket & wiki page, it will refer to the history of events that occurred before the formal court proceedings—with context that may or may not have been admitted into the official court proceedings.
Judgement
Judgement refers to the court’s final decision resolving the case.
Judicial Opinion
A judicial opinion is a formal written explanation by a judge or a panel of judges that sets out the legal reasoning and decision in a case. It explains how and why the court reached its conclusion based on the law and the facts presented.
Jurisdiction
Jurisdiction refers to the court’s legal authority to hear the case.
Juror Instructions
Juror instructions (also called jury instructions or instructions to the jury) are the official guidelines given by the judge to the jury at the beginning, during, and especially at the end of a trial. These instructions explain the law, how to evaluate evidence, and the standards the jury must use to reach a verdict.
Legal Counsel
Legal Counsel, also known as lawyer or an attorney, is an individual or group of individuals that represent either the plaintiff(s) or defendant(s). Typically, both the plaintiff and the defendant will have their own, separate, legal counsel unless they decide to represent themselves.

In this specific case, plaintiff baltxe brought the case against defendant
GlutusMaximus_.
Presiding Juror

They are also known as the head juror, a foreman, or foreperson. In this specific case, Hyperluminous was appointed as presiding juror by judge
KingServal & deputy judge
jriver_15.
For example, in a criminal trial, the presiding juror would be responsible for leading the discussion among the jurors and making sure everyone has a chance to express their opinion. Once a verdict is reached, the presiding juror would announce it in court.
It's important to note that the presiding juror does not have any more power or influence than the other jurors. They are simply responsible for facilitating the discussion and communicating the verdict.
Verdict
A verdict is the formal decision or finding of fact made by a jury (or by a judge in a bench trial) on the matters or charges presented in a trial. It determines the outcome of the case based on the evidence and legal instructions given during the proceedings. A verdict will then be proceeded by the judgement of the court.
