A Brief History

Bedgeton was founded when getplayerhead.sh?GiannisN5&16.png GiannisN5 on 10/1/2022, when he placed a a crafting table and a sign on top of a hill at the Edge of the world (as of August 2021 expansion). It was then that he decided to build a tower at that hill, and a big wall, excactly at the border.

So it began. The tower and the wall were getting build, as well as a few huts around it. Afterwards, a tiny port was built and some other random builds were added, including the wheat and mycelium islands, the wheat hut and a Greek Flag. A few farms were also added to the tower.
It was then that a more concrete idea of how Bedgeton should develop was starting to form into GiannisN5's mind. He built some houses at the north part of Bedgeton Island and Edgeton at the southernmost.
Disclaimer: not be confused with getplayerhead.sh?Anna_28&16.png Anna_28's Edgeton. The Edgeton at Bedgeton is only used as a piece of lore, and not an actual city.
Then his attention moved at the Bedgeton Mainland where more projects could be built.

Getting There

The fastest, and most straight forward, way of getting to Bedgeton is going to the Nexus Yellow 1 Borderlands Hub and then, enter the Nether using the nearby portal and follow the ice roads of the Bedgeton Nether Highway Network to reach Bedgeton.
There are signs both at the Borderlands Hub and along the Nether ice road to make this journey easier. You may also visit any other destination of the Bedgeton Nether Highway Network as well.

More Information

Geography

Bedgeton can be split into 2 main regions, the Bedgeton Island and Bedgeton Mainland, both of them seperated by a river. (The river that the Wheat and Mycelium islands are in).

The Bedgeton Island is the part that its east of the river and next to the wall, and also where the Bedgeton Tower is. This is also seperated into smaller regions. At the Southernmost region, is Edgeton. North of it, and all the way till the Olympus Underwater Mountain is the Towering Falls region. Everything North of the Olympus Underwater Mountain forms the Bedgeton Outskirts which they are divided into the Bedgeton Valey, the plains biome part and Bedgeton Wastelands, on the mountain biome.

The Bedgeton Mainland is everything west of the river. While Bedgeton Island is more focused on lore, Bedgeton Mainland is dedicated to big sized porjects as well as farms.

Farms

Inside the Bedgeton Tower There is a public zombie and skeleton grinder which provided xp and loot. There is also a small manual cobblestone generator and an AFK fishing spot.

However, those farms are outdated and were built without utilizing Craftbook. Over at the Bedgeton Mainland there is a big Oak Tree Farm. It runs automaticaly and all the logs are depositred into nearby chests. Next to it there is also an equally big Cobblestone Farm, which provides almost half a double chest of cobblestone, just by flicking a lever. To gain access to these farms, players should use kit commands to pass through walls, or ender pearl glitch their way in, since the building that they are located in, has no direct entrance.

Bedgeton Banner

As with any other banner, Bedgeton Banner is the symbol of Bedgeton and it is used throughout it. It can also be found at most of the end points of the Bedgeton Nether Highway Network and at many other constructions, that Bedgeton has built or been part of. Its design is meant to represent the Bedgeton Wall, and the Bedgeton Tower, since that's were it all began. It also reflects the style of most Bedgeton Buildings, that are mainly built from stone and oak wood, (gray and brown).
It has also been though a rework, which added a gradient at the back layer.

Interactions With Other Cities

Silverton And Dubina

Almost immediately after Bedgeton was founded, getplayerhead.sh?Txkeykeeper&16.png Txkeykeeper from neighboring Silverton decided to make a visit. There, he introduced himself to GiannisN5 and that was the start of their alliance. After that meeting, GiannisN5 offered him to build a Nether ide road connecting Bedgeton with Silverton and Txkeykeeper agreed. (This was also the first rout ever built in the Bedgeton Nether Highway Network).
After a while, GiannisN5 willingly helped with building another ice road, this time connecting Bedgeton to the soon to be built Dubina. Also, after speaking again with Txkeykeeper, he was granted a plot at Dubina, in order to build the Bedgeton Embassy at Dubina.

Snowdonia

In order for GiannisN5 to build those ice roads, he needed an ice supply. Thats why he built a Nether road, connecting Bedgeton to an ice spikes biome. That road, happened to pass just in front of getplayerhead.sh?lukemaster60&16.png lukemaster60's portal leading to Snowdonia. lukemaster60 helped partially with the construction of an Nether ice road, coonecting his city to Bedgeton.

Cakevile

Some time, when some people were taliking about Nether ice roads, how few there were and how they would like to see more of them, GiannisN5 offered to build one. Then, getplayerhead.sh?Luigifan100&16.png Luigifan100 accepted the offer from his alt account, and a connection between the Bedgeton Nether Highway Network and Cakevile
