Obsidian Town is a settlement founded on 4 July, 2023, by users  XDCLAY and  Acesrt.  Cosmic_potato_04 and  Java64Bit would also join soon after and become the fourth and fifth. It is known for the largest artistic Nether portal on the server, being 16 times larger than a normal Nether portal. Since 6 February, 2025, Obsidian Town is now part of Republic City.
