Port Lóchrainn is a town under construction. It was founded on the 8th of January, 2018 by hprick on a peninsula west of Vizima. It's the location of Rainbow Records, a museum by hprick where he shows off his record collection.
History
Beginning
Port Lochrainn was started the 8th of january, 2018 by hprick, who wanted to start a completely new project after getting a bit bored in Tussenstad. He started by making the boulevard, which was a lot of work. After the boulevard was done, he went away from MCO for a while, to go on in april 2018, creating the harbour. On 2 may, one of Port Lochrainn's most recognizable districts, New Giethoorn, was started.
Pause
On the 18th of may, hprick moved to Sandmore to get away from enormous projects for a while. In Sandmore, he became a key part of the expansions, creating the Kingdom Of Marinia. Unfortunately, this meant that work on Port Lochrainn would stop for a while. But hprick will get back to that eventually.
Revitalised
In february of 2019, hprick came back to Port Lochrainn to continue building. He started by building a little watchtower in the harbour and continued to create a huge sandstone skyscraper on the north side.
Districts
At the time of writing, Port Lochrainn has 4 districts:
- North Boulevard
- The northern part of the boulevard builds
- South Boulevard
- The southern part of the boulevard builds
- Harbour
- The harbour and the builds next to it
- New Giethoorn
- The canal town to the east of the main peninsula. Houses in New Giethoorn are only accessible by boat.
Infrastructure
The most obvious part of Lochrainian infrastructure is the boulevard which spans from the southernmost part to the northern edge. Furthermore, it has a harbour with a lot of room for boat transport, which is only expanding more and more. The pink-white boat route passes right through this harbour, making Port Lochrainn extremely well accessible by boat.
