CMS Publishing was started by  cnupdates in 2023 only as a way to make his publications seem more "official", though it was revived in the start of summer 2024, after having bought a shop location, to become an official company and publish other people's works as well. This was done because it seemed like there was an absence of active book publishers, even though people had talked about the idea of making one. It released its limited edition debut “A Menu of Pasta” on the 9th of August 2024 to show the revival of the company to the masses. The shop is located in Glowstone Mall on the first floor where certain books from CMS are sold.

CMS Publishing:

Provides limited and unlimited edition releases through various means

Unlimited edition releases: (Copies of copies, copies of original) Will continuously produce books to fit demand. Can be distributed in a certain place (for example the spawn chest), sold at the shop, just given out to people who want a copy directly or a mix of the previously named. Can be sold either for free or by a set price determined by the author, but the author has to pay a fee of 4 diamonds per every 64 books produced (rounds upwards).

Limited edition releases: (Originals, copies of copies). A set amount of books will be produced that can be sold at the shop or given out to people who want it. Can be sold either for free or by a set price determined by the author. The author pays a one time fee for the amount of books he wants published; 4 diamonds per every 64 books produced (rounds upwards).

We also provide anonymous releases and releases by multiple writers. Message me (cnupdates) if you want your book published by CMS.

Also, with the new start of the company we're announcing a free, promotional release “A Menu of Pasta” with a limited edition of 40 which you can get a copy of at the shop or by asking cnupdates.

Additional information

There are three things that CMS tries to promote in what it publishes: collaboration, passion, and weirdness. These aren’t requirements for the book, in fact CMS has very few requirements when it comes to what is released, that being it needing to be over 8 pages, and being an original creation by the author (or authors if there’s multiple). The process of getting your book published is pretty straight-forward. You contact CMS with what you want to publish and discuss your requirements in a conversation, then after you agree to the terms of service CMS will start producing and distributing your book.
