The Defense of getplayerhead.sh?okoshima&16.png okoshima's Hut (also known as the Steve War), was a minor skirmish between two players that escalated into a pitched war involving Moderators and an Admin versus an army of Steve Police.

Timeline

Early on May 21st, 2011, a player named getplayerhead.sh?okoshima&16.png okoshima complained about a new player who had appeared in his house and had evidently /sethome to that location, so that killing the player had no useful effect. The player was getplayerhead.sh?fruity_mario24&16.png fruity_mario24, and a further allegation was voiced that a block in getplayerhead.sh?okoshima&16.png okoshima's house was altered or destroyed, but on moderator investigation this was let off with a warning.

After some Moderator involvement, getplayerhead.sh?fruity_mario24&16.png fruity_mario24 went elsewhere but returned an hour later to get into the house, with some allegations of a fence being broken or a block being placed so as to scale over the fence, and quite vocal disapproval of the situation in general Minecraft chat channels.

At this time unlikely assistance arrived in the form of getplayerhead.sh?Charlesbaechler&16.png Charlesbaechler, who had passed through the area on an unrelated killing spree, dispatching getplayerhead.sh?okoshima&16.png okoshima. Various respected advisers informed getplayerhead.sh?Charlesbaechler&16.png Charlesbaechler that this was not a just action considering the ongoing situation, and getplayerhead.sh?Charlesbaechler&16.png Charlesbaechler quickly started defending getplayerhead.sh?okoshima&16.png okoshima from getplayerhead.sh?fruity_mario24&16.png fruity_mario24's invasion attempts.

The problem was that although he had now moved his spawn point to his own house, each time getplayerhead.sh?fruity_mario24&16.png fruity_mario24 died, the Steve Police were generated. getplayerhead.sh?fruity_mario24&16.png fruity_mario24 would then instantly run from his spawn point at his house to getplayerhead.sh?okoshima&16.png okoshima's house, ignoring all requests to stop. getplayerhead.sh?Charlesbaechler&16.png Charlesbaechler continued to defend the house with the assistance of getplayerhead.sh?Liastrae&16.png Liastrae and getplayerhead.sh?rtkwe&16.png rtkwe.

Within a handful of minutes the numbers of Steve Police had grown to a fantastic size. As more players arrived, some players diverted from defending against getplayerhead.sh?fruity_mario24&16.png fruity_mario24's incursions to simply trying to kill off and reduce the hoard of assailing Steve Police.

The situation was only completely resolved when getplayerhead.sh?fruity_mario24&16.png fruity_mario24 retreated, and players, Moderators, and Admins, were able to cleanse the area with fire, swords, and bows. The Steve Police littered the area surrounding the the Maze, the Maze itself, and the houses nearby.

Today, a memorial to the battle can be found in Spawn, bordering Maze.
