History
- The Lunar Games were first dreamt up by ScarClaw72 on April 3rd, 2018. For a long time he had been wanting to bring the community together more like he has spent hours on the wiki reading about. He had been trying to do this since he joined with stuff like The Freedonia Birthday Cake. However it was the conversation with an admin that really set it off.
- Later that same day, ScarClaw72 organized The Lunar Games: 0, a test run to see how an idea would play out. He hid a chest of 20 diamond blocks at spawn then watched as the server searched. In the end,
Mindcrafter_ found them. This marked the birth of The Lunar Games.

Spleef
- Spleef is a classic for all Minecrafters, and it's very popular due to its simplicity.
Rules
- For those who don't know how spleef works, here's how it goes.
- Each person is given a diamond shovel. They all are set onto a giant plane of snow and must be the last one standing by knocking the floor beneath everyone else's feet. Last one standing wins.
Treasure Hunt
- A game that brings people to all corners of Freedonia as they search for the same thing: Diamonds.
Rules
- Treasure Hunt is a game in which a chest is hidden in some general location of Freedonia and players are dispatched to search for it. PvP is not allowed and will result in disqualification of the player. The chest will be guarded by a player, and only allowed to be opened once someone has located it.
Brick Breakers: Lag Edition
- What is your best strategy for combating lag?
Rules
- Brick Breakers: Lag Edition is a game in which contests must completely remove their assigned structure using only stone tools. The structures are all built specifically for this game mode and will be removed following its completion. Contestants must stay visible to the spectators, to prevent cheating. In extreme cases, players may have to be "shook down" to make sure nothing sneaky is brought in. May your strategy and speed lead you to victory!
Arrow Party
- Don't get shot!
Rules
- One contestant is chosen at random and then becomes the marksman. The marksman's job is to shoot everyone off the long narrow platform. Contestants may run along it to avoid fire, but once your fall, you're out. Knock someone else off with your fist and your disqualified. The last person standing wins, and they and the marksman will both receive prizes.
Arrow Frenzy
- Arrow Party, but worse!
Rules
- The concept is the same as Arrow Party, But now it's two way. Each team lines up one two thing walkways and must shoot each other off.
Connect 4
- What is this round piece you speak of?
Rules
- Its classic connect 4 in minecraft! Gravel is black and sand is red. You play it just as you would any other game of connect four. Make sure the pistons are activated before you start placing.
Horders
- Be the first to make it through the zombie horde.
Rules
In the middle of the arena is a chest full of loot. But surrounding it is a massive zombie horde! You might be the first to get to the center and survive. Combat with other players is not prohibited, and neither is wearing armor. For weapons, bring what you got, but no armor or stat altering items. Eg: Potions, Gold apples, etc.
- Requires a god donor to play
Chicken Drop
- The game where players must lure the most chickens into their pit before time runs out.
