Echoes is the third settlement created by the Black Starwalkers, and one currently in development. It was started from an idea dunechan originally had about a base made from designs from the BioShock series.
Echoes was named after the song Echoes by rock group Pink Floyd. The song's name, and therefore the base's name originates from the word Echoes, which (in this context) means one who closely imitates or repeats another's words, ideas, or acts. This was applicable when naming it due to it's inspirations and combinations of styles.
