Free Build

Free build is a type of permission that allows any players to build without any prior approval. Freedonians are discouraged to adapt this, as it would make area management extremely annoying for settlement owners and server staffs to deal with.

Terms

The term “free-build” is strictly for already-settled locations and not wilderness. For example, a free-build city is a city that does not need prior invitation to build in. Some free-build towns have rules to give orders in them. Therefore, when you are building in a free-build zone, expect your build to be voided without notice (mostly by the settlement owners).

This term is however, not to say the least, conflicting with the grief rule, and Freedonians are not advised to adapt this - It will make area management bothersome for server staffs to deal with.

Examples

  • Spawn - Any registered players or those with over 100 hours of play time may build within the Spawn Wall, though unqualified builds are periodically wiped off by admins.
  • Forrrest - This warp made in 2015 has been publicly open for a long time, and many players have built random things all over and around, while some broke them - which is grief.
  • Skylands - Not so far away from Forrrest, but has very hard access to different parts of the region, hence the low amount of builds at the region.
  • Camp Newbie - This location by getplayerhead.sh?abamacus&16.png abamacus is a beginner’s stop for the server.
  • Mount Pespla - A typical example of a free-build town by getplayerhead.sh?Anubis773&16.png Anubis773.
  • United Texas Coalition - A team of members may be controlling free-build zones.
