Invasions

An invasion is identified as an event where a large influx of players log into the MinecraftOnline server within a short window of time due to some form of promotion or MCO being referenced in some form of media, such as a YouTuber's video. Invasions can also be home-grown, with users deciding en masse to act a certain way. This page is dedicated to mass griefer influxes, both intentional and unintentional.

The ban timeline from 2010-2021 overlayed with invasions/attacks. ???'s denote unknown events.

Invasions

May Unrest (7-Chan Raid)

Way back in 2011, the server saw to date the worst invasion as far as bans go. The May Unrest was an attack carried out by a banned player who brought rise to arms to 7-Chan.

Rushers (Rusherpocalypse)

Not to be confused with Russianpocolypse

Youtuber The Camping Rusher made two videos of "the oldest Minecraft server" when the server he was talking about, 2B2T, was in fact not.

Mines

Mines Invasion that was more of a blessing than most by Mines.

Hemerald (Italian Invasion)

YouTuber Hemerald brought Italian players to MCO.

Mauzer (Russian Invasion)

Not to be confused with Rusherpocalypse

Russianpocolypse is a name inspired by the Rusherpocalypse, which occurred due to a video released by Youtuber Mauzer. This promptly followed the promotion of a few new moderators.

Coming o' The Cryllics

A minor invasion occurred following the aforementioned Mauzer's video. This rather ended well, unlike any other invasions.

StudioMoonTV (Czech Invasion)

YouTuber StudioMoonTV made a video about the MinecraftOnline server. Being created by a previously banned player, many new players from Czechia and Slovakia showed up with malicious intentions. This invasion started the trend of mass torch grief on the raised walkways.

api448 & lemons222

getplayerhead.sh?api448&16.png api448 and getplayerhead.sh?lemons222&16.png lemons222 were both players who were banned but would come back for months to come with a vengeance. With the power of VPN and cheap/free alternate accounts, these two carried out highly strategic and devastating grief attacks on the server. Due to them both overlapping almost perfectly with their attacks, it was believed they were the same person. Evidence suggests they were two separate people, though. Their main targets were builds of those whom they disliked before they were banned. Some of the targets are Spawn, BenjaminStad, player’s vaults, many warps, and of course, Snaketown, which was famously griefed over a dozen times.

Githis & EPU

A few months after the nightmare of api448 and lemons222, a player by the name getplayerhead.sh?Githis&16.png Githis was banned, who also came back with a vengeance. He started a group known simply as EPU, which made a video directly attacking the server. This group carried out coordinated griefs similar to api and lemons, mostly aimed at the same targets, ushering in a few more months of darkness. More bans occurred in this period as Githis used many alts to quickly spam something about having a ‘back door to the server’ or how ‘MCO is communist.’ Lemons likely partook in grief in this period as well.

FuzeIII (French Invasion)

Baguette language was a joke some players were making about a mass grief attack of French players who were routed from the video by FuzeIII.

FitMC (2B2T Invasion)

getplayerhead.sh?Fit&16.png Fit made a video that mentioned Freedonia, leading to an influx of 2B2T players onto the server. The first invasion of what would become a huge wave of invasions that the server would ever experience.

AntVenom

Youtuber AntVenom made a video in which he mentions Freedonia.

SalC1 (2B2T Invasion)

2B2T YouTuber getplayerhead.sh?SalC1&16.png SalC1 made a video about MinecraftOnline on January 30th 2017. However, the video was resurrected three years later on January 26th 2020, thanks to YouTube's mysterious algorithm. Regular players declared war against new griefers.

FitMC2: Electric Boogaloo

Fit does it again, this time the largest that the server can hold for the first time in 9 years since the server's opening - 120 players. What's worse, he made a video of the server's April Fool's world, although was released 3 days later when everything turned back to normal. ...Or it seemed so.

ZetaSSJ (Spanish Invasion)

On November 11th 2021, a Chilean YouTuber getplayerhead.sh?ZetaSSJ&16.png ZetaSSJ uploaded a video premiere about MinecraftOnline to his 2.15 million subscriber channel. Not long after the premiere ended, the server was flooded with dozens of Spanish-speaking players, reaching the server's player cap multiple times. This invasion produced El Reino Z, a settlement that is likely the largest in Freedonia besides Spawn.

Fabo (German Invasion)

German YouTuber getplayerhead.sh?TheFabo&16.png TheFabo made a video on December 31st, 2021, where he logged on and talked about the server. What resulted was a large number of German players, both good and bad, finding their way to MinecraftOnline.

Winter Warning

To the surprise of everyone, an all-out assault of accounts kept trying to join the game on February 10th, 2022. Most were automatically disconnected via the Weepcraft filter, but those who got through spammed the chat with random characters. It was short-lived but saw over sixty new accounts join the server, giving players a moment of pause and anxiety.

WeepCraft is a well-known hack client for Minecraft, and MinecraftOnline monitors it 24/7.

February 2023 FitMC -SalC1 Invasion

On February 11th, 2023, getplayerhead.sh?Fit&16.png Fit made a video covering hack operations that had recently taken place on the server. This video was followed shortly on February 12, 2023, by getplayerhead.sh?SalC1&16.png SalC1, who made a video criticising the organisation of the server's staff team. Both videos got a total view count of 500,000 by the first day. This resulted in the server being flooded by fans of both YouTubers at the same time.

Nerkin_ (Russian Invasion)

Youtuber Nerkin made a video in which he is nearly banned from the server. Subsequently, his viewers invaded the server on May Day 2025.
