Newport Highway is a long road that winds through the remote regions of the Southwestern Expansion of Summer 2020. The road starts at HyperRoute 15 and runs a few thousand meters to the city of Newport. The road was worked on by Flamehaze97 but mostly by Leah_Starcraft after Flame's laptop's Touchpad Palmcheck apparently turned itself on. Flame didn't know how to turn it off so she had Leah help build the rest of the road, which took another 2 days to complete. Flame went on hiatus on July 4, 2020 and came back on September 16, 2020, and finally finished the road project on 9-19-2020.
The original road was a 2 block wide, unrealistic oak wood plank road. Today, portion of the road east of Cat Town has been remade by 
tindwcel in their classic style of birch/cobble roads. The portion running west from Cat Town to Newport was rebuilt by snakyman with nicer bridges and a gravel road in the empire road style.
The only part of the original plank road still in existence is a small portion west of the current terminus of the highway in Newport. There is a park around it.

Reroute of road
In November 2020, snakyman rerouted Flame's road for Snaky's Newport expansion. Also back towards Mount Hana National Park, Medi0cre moved Flame's road off the mountain side into the outer edge of Mount Hana National Park for Valeria. Leah_Starcraft's cave will now forever be lost to oblivion...or is it???
