Mons Albus is a town in Southwestern Freedonia founded and built mostly by Daltalf.
Summary
Founded upon a peninsula on 08/07/2020, Mons Albus is a colorful town inspired by medieval and fantasy architecture. Castles perched on hills watch over houses topped with reddish roofs. Banners hang from the bridges, scarecrows stand guard in the fields, and bees browse the flowers.
Mons Albus is Latin for White Mountain, though originally there weren't any snowcapped peaks nearby. It was firstly the name of a castle Daltalf built with his siblings on a separate Minecraft world, which was accidentally deleted. Thus, he named this town in memory of that place.
Since many of the town's buildings were made by Dalt, and since he frequently changes his mind on what looks nice, the town has undergone (and will continue to undergo) several changes. Despite this, the homes and contributions of other players remain intact as a sign of respect and admiration for their creativity.
How to Get Here
There are a few ways to get to Mons Albus:
- By boat (recommended): warp to New Venice, head south until you reach the end of town. Take the Snow Golem Route (follow the buoys made of snow and jack o' lanterns, resembling snow golems).
- By road: warp to New Venice, head to the southeast corner of the town. There you will find Route 57, a road made of stone slabs. Take that road for about 1.5 km and you will see a cobble/sandstone road branching off to the east. Take that road and it'll lead you straight into town!
- By rail: At the New Venice Station, take the line that goes southbound.
- By nether: Head to Emberrest and find the nether portal at the Central District. On the nether roof, take the ice road.
- By nexus: Light blue -> Light blue 3 -> Mons Albus

Affiliations
Mons Albus was a member of the League of Peaceful Towns and Settlements. Unfortunately, on the 8th of April 2024, the League was dissolved. However, Mons Albus still boasts a strong alliance with Emberrest, a neighboring town and former League member, and both towns' leaders remain good friends.
On October 29, 2022, Mons Albus joined the United Texas Coalition.
On October 30, 2025, Mons Albus joined the Freedonian Commonwealth, hoping to work together with other towns located in the Central Continent.
