History

The Republic of Freedonia was officially founded on August 12th, 2024, by  dunechan. Before its founding, the region of Trussia was under the control of Savannaland, which is run by  BrightDiamond53. When  dunechan first settled in the region in late 2022, they started a small town called Trussville, which was built around a castle.  dunechan lost interest in Minecraft later that year, and returned in June of 2024. The town of Trussville was renamed to New St. Petersburg or New St. Peters for short.

In a small amount of time, the once small town expanded into a city with multiple districts and neighborhoods. One of these districts was called Aether City, which was built upon Roman and Greek inspired architecture, mixed with art-deco skyscrapers. Later, in early August of 2024, New St. Peters was renamed to Petersburg City, and it became a district of Aether City

As of August 15th, 2024, the Freedonian constitution was signed, creating rules for what the government can and cannot do.

On October 22nd, 2024,  dunechan officially joined the Black Starwalkers. Following this, part of the United Republics of Freedonia was incorporated into the Black Starwalkers, specifically Aether City and all of it's districts. Other cities are only under the URF banner, but Aether City is under both.

Currently we have 28 citizens, but we are welcoming to anyone wishing to become citizens of the URF!

If you have a town and would like to join the FFR (Freedonian Federal Republic), Just ask  dunechan if she’s online and you're guaranteed a response. She might also invite you to join the FFR. If a player is banned after they have joined, they will no longer be considered a citizen unless they are unbanned. You can also ask  Internetuser10 in the MCO discord.
