The Emberrest Nexus Ceremony was an event held to commemorate the town of Emberrest getting linked to the Nexus System.

Summary

The ceremony started the day after Emberrest was connected to the Nexus. getplayerhead.sh?Link03&16.png Link03 planned the event and invited many players. When the time to start approached, almost every server regular online heard about it and came to Emberrest to participate. Over 20 people attended. getplayerhead.sh?Hirudo6&16.png Hirudo6 and getplayerhead.sh?Link03&16.png Link03 had to add more seats to the Emberrest Ceremony Hall to compensate for the increased volume. Although very chaotic, Link and the Emberrest project heads all gave a speech, followed by a number of speeches from other players and some non-residents of Emberrest.

The following is a basic overview of the speeches given during the ceremony.

  <Link03> so i when i first discovered this town
  <Link03> it was just an empty beach
  <Link03> with nothing
  <Link03> i would have never know this town would even ever get a nexus
  <Link03> But after all this work
  <Link03> we finally got our nexus
  <Link03> i will strive  to keep imrpoving this town
  <Link03> and this town will get a lot of improvement in the coming weeks
  <Link03> so yeah
  <Link03> i am really pleased and impressed by the process we already made
  <Link03> and i want to thanks this awesome community too
  <Link03> thanks to you i might have not even started on here
  <Link03> so thats my part now i will invite other people to hold a speech

  <Hirudo6> We worked together and made cool stuff, made friends

  <ScarClaw72> I first joined Freedonia 4 and a half years ago
  <ScarClaw72> And very quickly in I learned this server was like no other, something unique amonst the history of the game
  <ScarClaw72>  Originally I wanted to leave my own mark on the server, which came to be in the form of Project MOON, something I plan on finishing this year.
  <ScarClaw72> But along my lifetime on this server I had made many friends
  <ScarClaw72> I have helped many towns in the journey to get off the ground.  NHCity, Cosmic City, Exfay, Tha, BenjaminStad, and many more
  <ScarClaw72> Some succeeded, and some fell apart rather quickly.  It had been such a long time since I invested
  <ScarClaw72> this much time into a new settlement, and I feel proud that is has come this far to fruition
  <ScarClaw72> Emberrest is a town with the spirit of those from years ago, the ones the server has so desperately lacked as of late
  <ScarClaw72> I was never sure if it was going to remain a relic of old noob huts, or become something greater.
  <ScarClaw72> And it has
  <ScarClaw72> I am excited for what the future has in store, and I am already thinking of new ways to help improve the town and expand it.

  <HY_Turkic> now it has become big and great thanks to all who worked on it
  <HY_Turkic> with an amazing Nexus link and it seems to be replacing other cities like Newport or Finland
  <HY_Turkic> in becoming the new main city
  <HY_Turkic> Takadokia was no where close to being this impressive when it got its link months ago
  <HY_Turkic> this city has been developing quickly
  <HY_Turkic> and I say it deserves the Neuxs link well
  <HY_Turkic> it is an amazing city
  <HY_Turkic> but I've seen the progress on maps and I was tracking the wiki page
