New Market is a city found in the South Eastern Frontierlands in Freedonia. New Market is the gateway to the Southeast Frontiers and the UTC. New Market sports a large skyscraper filled downtown and the iconic The New Colossus (Statue of Liberty). New Market is primarily built by Ken_the_Foxxo, he only allows others to build in New Market only with his express permission to do so.
History
Founding of New Market
New Market was founded on October 19th 2022 by Ken_the_Foxxo when he saw on the servers map a great location to start a town in his opinion. Ken arrived on a spruce boat from the south west. the beach he landed on was marked with a sign proclaiming the founding of New Market. The beach is now known as Founders Beach and has a statue commemorating the event. At first Ken_the_Foxxo planned New Market to be like Manhattan in New York City. he first built the Whittenbock Hotel building which is now the tallest structure in the city outside of future monuments.
The Plan of New Market Forms
Ken then constructed the New Market Vault under the hotel in a Neo Classical style and while constructing the vault Ken changed plans with the city to be a mixed use medium rise city like ones found in Europe. Ken did not build skyscrapers because he was bored of building them in every city he owns. Kens plan for New Market was set in motion when the first row building was constructed next to the Whittenbock Hotel. Due to the surprising efficiency of row building construction an entire block of row buildings was constructed on the first day of the new plan.
The plan for New Market is mid-rise row buildings for all parts of the city. Scattered about the city monuments and landmarks will be constructed. New market will only contain small parks where it looks best with one planned exception.
Construction begins!
Construction begins in the then small New Market streets are built and a small statue commemorating the founder of New market is erected on the tip of the New Market Peninsula. The seawall is extended to carry Shoreline Promenade. New Market gradually expands as Ken builds more and more row buildings. Soon after construction begins the first notable building is constructed within the city, a small clock tower at the corner of Victoria Street and Shoreline Promenade. Another small statue commemorating the founding of New Market is constructed on founders beach, the statue depicts Ken_the_Foxxo standing in a boat pointing out to sea. Next a platform is built for the capitol building of New Market housing the New Market state government.
Spring 2023
As of spring 2023 New Market is gradually expanding by adding new blocks of row-buildings. the The New Colossus (Statue of liberty) completed construction at the gates of the Caddo Sea. The river walk begins construction as expansion continues eastward up the island.
City plans change...
In Late summer early fall 2023 by the urging of 
JamesSev to build a skyscraper. Ken_the_Foxxo capitulated and lifted the ban on constructing skyscrapers in New Market and built a clock tower skyscraper. This tower spured a complete 180 in the city plans from a low rise European style city to emulating New York City going back to the original plan of the city.
The "Manhattanization" of New Market
After the first tower was complete and the complete change in plans of the city. Ken_the_Foxxo started demolishing and replacing old row buildings with Skyscrapers in the Downtown region. Towering above the old buildings. Some old buildings heights where extended to more be in line with the Skyscrapers making the city feel more dense. Gone where the days of the small quaint city of New Market. Now this city shall never sleep. During this time of initial skyscraper build out 3 more skyscrapers where constructed in Downtown and many other buildings heights where extended as well.
Fall 2023
Downtown was expanded into the ocean in the south using land reclamation. This area is home to the Financial District and the under construction New Market Stock Exchange and 40 Wall St the planned tallest building in the city. Land reclamation north of downtown was undertaken a Grid system for east of downtown has been developed with 45 x 60 large blocks extending from the east edge of the River Walk to the end of the island. 12 new skyscrapers are planned Downtown and more are planned Midtown.
Early 2024
In early 2024 the largest suspension bridge in the world was constructed named UTC Gate Bridge. The bridge is located North of Eagle Point finally connecting the east frontiers road network with the rest of Freedonias network. By the end of January 40 Wall Street and the New Market Stock exchange where completed. In early February the worlds only Aether Portal was lit in the lot where the New Market customs house would be constructed. as more skyscrapers where added to Downtown Trinity Church completed construction marking the arrival of the first church to the city. and the further expansion eastward on Manhattan continued adding the new Chelsea District.
Mid 2024
Midway through the year the Bank of Texas building now the tallest building in downtown was finished. the design for Union Station was finalized and construction materials where beginning to be gathered. During September the Capitol building for the State of Colombia was completed. Union Station began its construction early September.
Late 2024
Most of late 2024 was taken up by the construction of Union Station the largest FRS and Project Anubis station. Construction lasted from early September to early December. on November 14th the city was connected to the NEXUS system its NEXUS is located in Orange 3 Hub. When Unions construction was wrapping up in December the new Union Square and City Hall where being designed for the center of Midtown.
Early 2025 Present Day
The first building of the year was the Chrysler building located next to Union Station finally starting to populate and fill out the long planned Midtown. The Flatiron Building was completed late January. there are plans for 2025 to completely urbanize Midtown to Downtown and start building the New Market Metro System.

- UTC 90 (New Market Highway) was built by Ken_the_Foxxo as part of the UTC National Highway System it runs in an East-West direction beginning in the Empire City area next the Borderlands Nexus Hub East (Orange) 3. The road runs for ~8.6km and ends at Green Acres. The road as of now does not connect to the street network of New Market because Ken wants to build up to the road first before connecting it.

New Market has one boat route as of now. Connecting up to the Navarro Boat Route that terminates in Dubina.
