Patriot's Rest is a USA-themed town that is currently in development. It was founded on June 30, 2021 by smoney5. The town prides itself in being the most patriotic town in all of Freedonia.
History
Founding
Once upon a time in Freedonia, smoney5 decided to stop squatting underneath Nexus Central and build a house. Hearing this, 
George_Mann invited him to make his home in Georgetown. Excited by the offer, smoney5 got to work immediately and built his “forever home” right in the heart of the town. smoney5 lived there happily for months, until one day a concrete monstrosity fell out of the sky and into his front yard. Seeing that his "forever home" now had a front-row seat to this abomination, smoney5 decided it was time for a fresh start.
Seeking life in the big city, he left Georgetown behind and set his sights on the great metropolis of Newport. Upon his arrival he met 
r9q, who generously offered him a luxury condominium in Newport Tower — for free. smoney5 felt like he had finally made it! Life in Newport, however, was not quite the glamorous high-rise dream he had imagined. The smog, the traffic, and his troubled next-door neighbor, 
Otis_Wong , slowly chipped away at his sanity. Whether he left voluntarily, was evicted, or simply walked out one day and couldn’t find the door again remains disputed to this day. What is known is that smoney5 soon found himself wandering the city streets — lost and without a home once again. One day while he was digging through 
snakyman's dumpster for food, he met 
NinjagoKristian . He was looking for help with his new settlement, Cat Town, and offered smoney5 a position on the town staff. smoney5 hates cats, but anything was better than sleeping in the Newport mob-grinder so he accepted.
Now reader, if you’ve never visited Cat Town, then don’t. Just imagine a concrete block in the middle of the ocean with Soviet-village inspired housing. That’s Cat Town. With this in mind, it’s no surprise that smoney5 thought he had been tricked into working at a concentration camp. Instead of running away, however, he decided to stay hoping to free those who were enslaved. This opportunity would come sooner than he thought. One day, while smoney5 was busy building, a revolt broke out and 
NickolasDiamond started attacking NinjagoKristian. smoney5 joined in, seeing it as the perfect opportunity to take down the prison that was Cat Town. As it turns out Cat Town was not actually a concentration camp, and after being blasted off the map by 
Krenath and exiled for his war crimes he was once again homeless.
With nothing but the items in his inventory, which were few after the battle, smoney5 set out on a journey to build a settlement of his own; a haven where he could be in charge. After wondering the southern spawn circle for what seemed like ages, he found a quiet peninsula, untouched except for a single noob hut. And so, there he founded Harbortown: a place where he made the rules! No monstrosities appearing in his front yard, no smog and troubled neighbors, and no North-Korean inspired housing — it was paradise.
Renaming
In 2022, smoney5 decided to take a hiatus from the server to focus on other things. The town sat abandoned with only the visitor's center, nether highway, and ilove_lucy's house complete. Upon his return to the server in 2024, smoney5 decided to rename the town to Patriot's Rest and make it into a showcase of American patriotism.
2025 - Present
Currently, the main focus of development is infrastructure and monuments. If you'd like to help reach out to smoney5.
Location
Patriot's Rest is located on a peninsula in the deep south of the Spawn Circle. There are three ways to get to Patriot's Rest.
- By Boat - Take the SlowRiot route from spawn until it merges with the New Venice route. Stay on the New Venice route for a short time, then turn onto the CatBoy route. The CatBoy route crosses through Patriot's Rest.
- Via the Nether Highway System - Take the South Highway until you reach the sign reading "Patriot's Rest".
- (Recommended) Via the Nexus System - Take the Light Blue (1) Nexus, then go through the Patriot's Rest portal to your right.

Rules
In addition to the server rules, Patriot's Rest has a few of its own:
- No PvP except in designated areas.
- Generally, all builds must follow a patriotic theme. Even if it's as small as putting an American flag banner on it, try to incorporate some patriotism!
Failure to follow these rules may result in exile.

Government
During the initial development phase, smoney5 is the mayor and sole governor of Patriot's Rest. He alone can confirm new citizens, approve new builds, and make decisions on the direction of Patriot's Rest. As the town continues to develop, there are plans for a Town Council that will be elected by the citizens.

- Patriot's Rest was originally named Harbortown, but the name was changed four years after its founding.
- The Welcome Center, although it’s been rebuilt, was the first building in Patriot's Rest.
