On 4 August 2025, Freedonia celebrated its decade-and-a-half birthday. Fishing at the Spawn Lake included birthday cakes for two days. Special hourly gifts were handed out, and the /goto command was available for everyone for the duration of the event. This page lists all the major events that happened on that day.
Capture the Flag
The day before the birthday, 
EpicBaby hosted a Capture the Flag game at New Eden.

A practice round was held to familiarize everyone with the game's rules. However, both teams ran out of gear and food, and the wool that was supposed to be captured burned in the arena's lava lakes. From this, EpicBaby concluded that he had not sufficiently explained the game's rules and that minor changes needed to be made to how the game was run, resulting in him aborting the round before making the necessary changes. After that, the game proceeded more smoothly, and the Blue Team was able to secure their first victory in Round 1. However, the Red Team soon caught up, winning the second round. The Red Team continued their streak in Round 3, winning the event 2 to 1.

MCO Awards
On 7pm BST, 4th August,

winx51 hosted the annual MCO Awards and the decade-and-a-half special award at Glenfiddich. See the linked article for details.
Amidst the awards, the server reached the player capacity of 120 players for the 6th time in history!
Old faces, New faces
Several admins have shown up during the awards, and more afterwards. The man himself, 
SlowRiot logged in for the first time since the previous server anniversary at 8pm BST, and announced the introduction of the new admins! 
Cosmic_potato_04 and 
FuzbolMC's names become red, and winx51 returns to the position 30 months after her resignation.
Also notably, many players have purchased kits including 
LTLinux, 
Blacknightmon, and 
Ted1246 (who went from Diamond kit all the way to GOD kit)!
