About Me
Hello I am Shadow, I am someone who shows up from time to time, I live a very busy life and my interests fluctuate (that also includes Minecraft) I am a long time Minecrafter having bought the game on the same day that Alpha version 1.0.4 (Seecret Friday 4) released on July 9th, 2010 when I was only 8 years old, I remember being scared of skeletons and finding the spiders oddly adorable. My first bit of Minecraft content I saw on Youtube was Minecraft FIREE WTFFFFFFF!!!!!
In terms of multiplayer I mostly hang around on SMPs, I do not really enjoy PVP or Anarchy as to be honest, I suck at it.

Minecraft Online
Humble Beginnings
On the 7th of May 2023 I discovered Minecraft Online from a SalC1 video about the server and 2 days later on the 9th of May at 6:41 PM BST I joined for the first time. I was looking for an SMP to play on at the time and Minecraft Online showed the most promise.
I went to Wilderness and spawned at a snowy taiga biome and began work getting resources and built my first spruce log cabin on the same day. I kept playing for a couple of days and built a larger spruce cabin, I was enjoying myself but it was clear I was playing Minecraft too often and began to burn myself out.
First Ban
One morning on the 24th of May while I was playing, I was interrogated by 
SenatorApple at 10:33AM BST on suspicion of using an xray texture pack, I admitted to using said pack and complied with staff, I was permanently banned at 10:37 AM BST. It was rough and I felt horrible, but I learned an important lesson, to not break any rules under any circumstance even if I think I can get away with it.
I took some time to try and relax, I believed in the server and I wanted to come back but I was worried about my reputation, to the server I felt I was just a filthy cheater who cheats at a kid's block game and also seeing Permanently Banned in bold text did not give me much confidence.
I tried again though and later on the same day I appealed my ban, I was very apologetic, I explained what happened, and explained how I felt with a big wall of text (surprised I didn't break another rule with that) and was subsequently unbanned at 7:28PM BST by

Despite being unbanned being on the server felt off, almost like I didn't belong and my activity on MCO fluctuated. To this day I am constantly reminded with a permanent warning that appears in chat every single time I join.
2nd Warning
Unfortunately, just three days after being unbanned, I was warned for breaking a carpet to get in a chest after a hopper grabbed my shulker box, in my mind it was fine however Minecraft Online has a noble NO TOLERANCE TO GRIEF and my action immediately summoned 
Luigifan100 a moderator at the time, I perfectly recalled the three rules when asked, I thought 'this it, I'm banned again for the final time' I was slapped with a warning and again was super apologetic.
Hiatus and Return
After my 2nd warning I stopped playing MCO and Minecraft for a whole year, during that time I went to college and continued working as a Farmhand and started volunteering at a Day Center. I returned on the 25th of April 2024 and I am currently active as of May 1st 2024.
Current Involvements
As of May 10th 2024 I am currently a Kanal Town staff member and I have recently joined North of Nowhere, Silver Lake and Dubina. I am a contributor for the Spanish Embassy and I am semi actively collaborating with 
FreezeItMC for his upcoming mapart that is still in progress.
I have also recently joined the new town Tentton

Small Spruce Cabin in Wilderness (Destroyed)
My first build on MCO, built on the first day I joined the server. I demolished it to build a larger, permanent build which ended up not being permanent.

My second build on MCO, built a few days after first joining, as of May 1st 2024, it is currently abandoned.

My third build on MCO, built on the same day I became staff at Kanal Town, it resides just off of the Acacia Dock.

My fourth build on MCO, decided to go for a different style than I would normally do. Built next to the dragon cafe on the west side of town

Kanal Town
On the 21st of May 2023 I joined Kanal Town, looking for a town to join. SiOtter caught my interest and I joined the town on the same day. I built my current permanent house there and 2 days after joining, SiOtter asked me "yo you wanna be town staff" to which I responded with "sure why not". I had helped SiOtter with town resource organisation and I became town staff, to this day as of May 1st 2024 I am still a semi-active staff member at Kanal having helped SiOtter with a few projects like expanding the road, connecting Kanal Town to Chilliwack and finishing the new storage building, I had also recruited a dozen new members since I became staff. I do try but I am not the best (Sorry if I ever let you down SiOtter)

Trivia
Total Miner: Forge
On Xbox 360 around 2014 I found enjoyment with a Minecraft clone known as Total Miner: Forge which had a ton of cool features likes world edit, script blocks (TM's equivalent to Command Blocks) A ton of cools blocks and creative features, RPG aspects with different classes with their own respective weapons (Mages, Warriors and Archers) a custom character creator where you can 'build' characters with ingame blocks (no anims though) and a licensed soundtrack from Kevin MacLeod. Sadly the game died when Xbox Live Indie Games was shut down in 2018 (by then Minecraft caught up to it anyways..)
Music
My current taste in music mostly consists of Metal, my three current favourite bands (as of May 1st 2024) are; In Flames (Melodic Death Metal, later Metalcore band formed in 1990), Gates of Ishtar (Melodic Death Metal band formed in 1992) and Sonata Arctica (Power Metal band formed in 1999). My two favourite subgenres of Metal are Melodic Death Metal and Power Metal
Honorable to the Symphonic Metal band Epica (which an old friend from the Netherlands introduced me to) for their incredible writing and musical compositions.
My Favourite song is 'Come Clarity' by In Flames released in 2006
Hobbies
Around 2019 - present I have been trying out different hobbies looking for what I am truly interested in, I tried hobbies like Woodwork, Scale Model Making, Collecting and Fixing Retro Computers, Collecting Nerf Blasters, Talking about different cars and the mechanical components of a car, Freediving (very briefly), Swimming with a Mermaid Tail, playing the flute, keyboard and later guitars and continued to draw horses and writing.
As of May 1st my main hobbies are Equestrian Art, Writing, Mermaid Tail Swimming and Music.
Horses
I always remembered loving horses, as a little boy when I was only 6, I remember seeing I think it was a Ferrari or Lloyd's Bank advert on TV and when I saw the black horse galloping across a beach, I pressed my hand on the screen as though I was trying to pet it (my oldest memory I have for my fondness towards horses) Around 2011 while I was in Primary School, we would go horse riding on Fridays and I loved it, I thought of working at that riding school and proposed the idea to my teacher who then spoke to the person who owned the school and by the time I was 14, I was working there as a volunteer, I stayed until I was 16 and by that point my life had changed and I could not continue, I would not work with horses again until I was 20 when I started volunteering at a Day Center where they had horses.
Britishisms
Being a.. not so proud British Man, I speak in ways that often get me made fun of online, but don't worry I play along with it xD
For example we say Jacket Potato instead of Baked Potato, call Sidewalks Paths, Bin instead of Trashcan and subsequently Rubbish instead of Trash and pronounce Aluminium as (Al- Loo - Min - ium) instead of (Aloo - Min - Um)

Skin Variants
My Minecraft skin means a lot to me, it is my way of expressing myself in Minecraft and it is also a 3+ year long project with about 30 hours of work. I have made my skin from scratch using Paint.NET and Minecraft Skin Viewer.
