Summary of April 1, 2020

On April 1, 2020 (April Fools’ Day), Admin getplayerhead.sh?doublehelix457&16.png doublehelix457 downgraded the MCO server to Minecraft version 1.4.6 and with it he generated a clean world.

Everyone was confused at first. A fresh new world was generated on 1.4.6. Fighting quickly broke out with players starting to punch each other. Many hid to protect themselves. At the time only twenty players could join but after a short time the player limit cap was increased and the server restarted. After a while of playing on the fresh world the server restarted with a backup of Freedonia on version 1.4.6. With no rules, beside spamming being enforced, the server soon turned into anarchy with many builds being griefed and players being constantly killed. A short time later, every player on the server was given several stacks of TNT and flint & steel. Fire spread and TNT was turned on during this time and soon the spawn region was severely griefed and was unrecognizable. Some players were even granted creative by some rouge admins. Essentially, the server was anarchy for a day.
