Platinum City (formerly Dipré-Platinum, better known as Dipre Platinum) is the vibrant city founded by  BatSpawnEgg and currently led by  trashsquirrel!

Sitting at a comfortable three-and-a-half-kilometre distance from spawn, its most prominent feature is the compact Platinum Mall building, a soon-to-open mall characterised by competitive prices and unusual items on sale.

Platinum City is a proud member of the United Texas Coalition!

Brief History

Platinum City can trace its origins to June 2017, when it was founded by  BatSpawnEgg, then known as ninocaporizzuto, who wanted to build a town where every player could have their own free plot.

It has been enjoying a population growth since the early months of 2025.

It had become a province of the Kingdom of Albourg after an alliance signed in 2025 between BatSpawnEgg and  Egitto.

Popular vote decreed a separation from Albourg on June 20th, 2025; on the same day, Platinum joined the United Texas Coalition.

After  BatSpawnEgg's ban on December 3, 2025, the mayoral position was automatically passed on to  trashsquirrel, who at the time was Acting Mayor.

On December 9, 2025, after some deliberation the town changed name to Platinum City, thus becoming a small city.

Platinum City can be roughly subdivided in four district as of March, 2025.

City Centre and old new expansion Map Link	2017? (as the original Dipre Platinum Town)	The original Dipre Platinum Town and its first serious territorial expansion. Home to the Central Platinum Subway Station, the hexabeacon, the central fountain and a couple heritage sites. Chock-full of player-plots, including the founder's and the first inhabitants', it is also the district where Shroom Square (or Founder's Square), a plaza containing a statue of  BatSpawnEgg's head and an elytra landing pad, is located. The Central Platinum Subway Station1, the Platinum subway's central station, is also located here. 1 Contains one end of the Platinum-Lava Town railway, one end of the Platinum Subway and a SCR stop, too!
Platinum Mall Map Link	2017/2018? (not considered an independent district at time of creation)	Houses the Platinum Mall, Marco Polo Plaza (the embassy tower), some places of worship and six player-plots. The Mall: The soon-to-open, eponymous city mall, connected via Platinum Subway to each City District and Lavatown. Marco Polo Vertical Plaza, is the city's pseudo-tower embassy building. Any settlement tied by diplomatic relations to Platinum City is entitled to one of the cube-offices that make up the building; ambassadors can choose their office's window colour, door type and internal furniture. The Temple of OLO is the sandstone temple to Our Lady of Lag.
Alpha Woods Natural Park Map Link	2011 (predates Platinum City)	A small forest of alpha-era tress kept in pristine condition. Home to a mooshroom spawner and a train stop of the Platinum Subway.
NDZ (New Development Zone) Map Link	2024	Big artificial plateau. Lit and mob-proofed, it is home to one player-plot, two bridges, a heritage site, six public building-sites and one of  silly_parker's 7/11 stores. The City-Hall, Teresa Noce Tower, is a colourful wooden spire. Six floors in height, it houses the city council room in its bottom floor and one assessorate office per upper floor. The top floor houses the mayoral office. The Sports-Stadium is currently work in progress...

Platinum's Culture Assessorate, with the invaluable help of  SenatorApple, protects and catalogues Heritage Sites in an effort to facilitate the Freedonian Historical Society's operations. The city's current HS are the following:

•  AgentMuu's and  GodlyCheeze's Japanese-Style Hilltop Castle, from 2011;
•  PurplePois0n's Fortified House, from August 2011;
•  FanBoyDoSpirito's House and Farm, from December 2015;

Demographics and politics

The city has a population of thirty-nine players.

Its current mayor is  trashsquirrel.

Its official language is English, its secondary language is Italian.

The city flag, the Alpha Tree, is displayed below. It was designed and crafted by  F40CARZ.

The mayor is acting assessor for every inactive assessorate; the mayor is acting assessor whenever an assessorate, for whatever reason, lacks its assessor.
Any citizen willing to work for an assessorate can put forward a candidacy to the relevant assessor. Mayoral terms last six months.

Platinum City houses embassies for Polgria, Little Poland and Hivenfall, and offices for both the Freedonian Historical Society (currently inactive) and the Chorus Coalition.

Furthermore, Platinum roughly borders with Lava Town to the North, Port Dhal to the East, an as-yet-unnamed building-settlement to the South and Linsalia and HS-101 to the West. It currently has no formal relationship with any of these settlements except Lava Town, to which it is connected by railway.

Rules

1. Edit only your plot/s, for anything else is considered griefing.

1. We don't ask for payment to own a plot: instead, we ask for a helping hand with growing the city and its community.

1. If the above rule isn't respected or your plot's building/s isn't/aren't finished in a month's time from the assignation, it will go back to being public property.
2. If you don't visit your plot for over three months, it will go back to being public property.

2. Be respectful to your neighbours. Have fun, and help the community grow!

How to reach us

We are not connected to the nexus (for now!).
The current ways to reach us are as follows:

1. go to /warp caverns and use our rail system;
2. take the Lava Town-Isle of Muu airway and get off at either of the Platinum City signs;
3. fly in our direction from wherever you are (distance from spawn is roughly three thousand blocks).
4. One of the nicest way to reach the city is by boat! Take the Lothendal Route (Orange/White boat route), Shypixel (Orange) Branch!

Citizenship Rights

Platinum citizens have the right to:

• Vote in the city's democratic processes (like the one that rescinded the city's relationship to Albourg);
• Get their own plot where to build whatever they feel like¹;
• Partake of the city's insurance system, which currently (Sept 2025) bestows one diamond and a full iron kit (armour and tools) onto citizens who aren't able to get their loot back after death;
• Request, once per week, the delivery of half a dub of bread;
• Access the city's places of worship.

¹ This city is limited by a perms system and plots: contact city authorities to get your free plot (new plots are always available).
