The idea for the Sentinels came to TheGriffinLord when he was searching the wiki for all of the old Freedonian warps. As he read about the history and legacy of these ancient places, he realized that MCO regulars rarely ever came to them, and the likelihood of new players going there and griefing without anyone going to report it to staff was very high. So he decided to create a group dedicated to protecting these sacred spots, preserving their history, and defending them from anyone who would seek to ruin them without any regard to their stories. Thus was born the Sentinels.
The Sentinels are not a PvP group, and while they are entitled to use force when necessary, their job is to protect, and to educate new players about the history of these places and their owners.
As of 6/3/2022, TheGriffinLord has declared the group inactive.
Builds
Watchtowers
Designed as strategic places of both protection and observation, the Watchtowers are built near or within the vicinity of warps to allow the Sentinels a post from which to see potential griefers, and to represent the presence and steadfastness of the warp guardians. Due to the location of some warps and other building restrictions, some warps will unfortunately be unable to receive a Sentinel Watchtower.
Headquarters
Although the Sentinels do not currently have a complete base of operations, one is currently being constructed far out in the newly generated 1.12.2 terrain by

Once 
ZetaSSJ posted his video and the dozens of players joined the server, many of the Sentinels were mobilized while the staff Sentinels supplemented their mod duties with patrolling their respective warps. Fortunately, the vast majority of the new players did not break the rules and flocked to the new city of El Reino Z to build and socialize or just to try and meet the YouTuber.
