Are you bored? Running around your base in circles, looking for something to do? Maybe one of these ideas will cure your boredom.

Exploring

Roads, Routes and Railways

Nexus Inner and Outer Loops

The Nexus Loop Inner (to every Nexus Branch) and Nexus Loop Outer (to every Nexus Hub) are some of the most historically interesting roads on the entire server, with builds in the wild ranging from 2011 all the way to modern times. If you haven't yet had the chance to walk along them, it's well worth your time if you enjoy exploring the map, and it's quite an easy road to access - just look for the smooth stone slab roads at any Nexus Branch or Hub.

The /tour

Yeah, this technically isn't a 'Road or Railway', but whatever, it's close enough. If you're like most new players, you probably didn't finish the entire /tour upon entering the server for the first time. The whole tour is surprisingly long, featuring an array of builds from a variety of different players, time periods, and building styles. You'll also get a server-specific advancement for completing the whole tour, so why not revisit it if you're bored?

Underrated Towns, Builds, etc

Legacy Warps

The warps are a selection of old and historically significant builds and/or settlements. New warps are not added for regular player builds or towns anymore, with the Nexus being preferred for this purpose.

Check /warplist, and pick a random one to warp to. Just don't do /randomwarp unless you want a chance to end up in the sauna.

Former Warps

If you've already taken a look at all the warps, and your eyes are hungry for some more mediorce 2011-era builds, then the former warps are for you! You'll also need to visit all of these to achieve a hidden MinecraftOnline advancement, so why not check them out if you're bored?

Fake Nether

Before July 2011 and the Beta 1.6 update, due to technical constraints, Freedonia was unable to have a Nether dimension of its own. As a temporary solution, a 'Fake Nether' was made, first created under NewAtlanta before being destroyed and then recreated in its current location. You'll need to visit this one too to get a MinecraftOnline advancement, so again, why not?

Fakestaff HQ

One of the most renowned MinecraftOnline groups of 2016-2018, visiting Fakestaff's HQ is an interesting look into one of MinecraftOnline's less publicised parts of its history.

Xanpi3000's Mansion

An intense, sprawling labyrinth of disjointed rooms from almost every possible build style and form possible, this build is one of the most creatively designed on the entire server. Seriously, this description can't do it proper justice - come to its entrance near Spawn and get lost exploring in its walls for hours on end.

Mech's Land of Hed Art

Taking full advantage of the server's dropped player heads feature, this project features an expansive fantasy world, crafted and characterised with many, many player heads, referred to as 'heds'. It's one of the most unique projects on the entire server, and definitely worth your time to check out, especially given its close proximity to Newport.

Boedecken II

An extensive adaptation of 2b2t's infamous base The Boedecken to MinecraftOnline, this is a must see if you enjoy 2b2t-style base builds.

The YouTuber Towns (getplayerhead.sh?SalC1&16.png SalC1's Verua, getplayerhead.sh?Aidan&16.png Aidan/MCBYT's Saffron, getplayerhead.sh?ZetaSSJ&16.png ZetaSSJ's El Reino Z)

Chances are that you may have heard of MinecraftOnline from one of these people's videos. Why not explore their towns while you're at it?

Old and New Banhammer Islands

The Banhammer Islands are extensive museums of many staff member's custom banhammer designs, spanning more than a decade's worth of former and current staff member banhammers. You'll probably want to visit the newer one first as it is directly linked to the Nexus, although if you're looking to experience MinecraftOnline history the older one is also worth visiting.

Item Museums

If you enjoy collecting/seeing items with a unique history (such as our many collectibles, or items like alpha slabs made as a result of quirks in the code of old Minecraft Java versions), item museums are for you! See the Category:Museums page for a list of all documented Museums, or take a tour of the following museums:

The Great Cookie Coffer

Yeah, this is technically an item museum, but it's unique enough that it deserves its own spot. Housing getplayerhead.sh?Clomik&16.png Clomik's extensive collection of reputation cookies, and featuring an extravagant design by getplayerhead.sh?ScarClaw72&16.png ScarClaw72, this build is well worth touring if you value server collectibles, especially given its proximity to the FunkyTown Nexus.

Dungeons

No, not the vanilla-type dungeons. These are custom-made areas at specific areas of the map with special mobs and bosses configured to spawn within - see the linked page for more details.

Grinding Diamonds

If you're a newer player and reading this, chances are you could put that time to good use (well, about as good as you can get while wasting your time on a Minecraft server) by grinding for diamonds, either directly or by selling in-demand goods like obsidian, ore blocks, cobwebs, etc. to malls like the Emerald Mall or Fuchsia Mall.
