FunkyTown was founded on May 18th, 2023 by Clomik, who had got the idea for the name when ReaperSniper joked about naming a town after the iconic song in chat. FunkyHunk joined the town because of its name and was made one of the co-founders.
FunkyTown also has its own anthem, which is the song Funkytown
