/tpto
/tpto is a command to teleport directly to a given set of coordinates, or a saved alias. It is available to players with at least obsidian kit, as well as moderators.
To use the command with specific coordinates, type:
- /tpto x (y) z where x, y and z are your intended destination coordinates. The y coordinate is optional, and if not specified, it will attempt to position you on the surface - but you may be dropped at the location from max world height instead, so wear armour and be ready to /descend if you try this.
- Players with at least nether kit may use /tpto x (y) z (dimension) where dimension is the dimension to teleport to. If omitted, it defaults to your current dimension. Players with nether kit may teleport between the Overworld and Nether and players with at least aether kit may teleport between all three dimensions.
You can either press F3 or type /getpos to obtain your current coordinates. Only the whole numbers are meaningful; although the coordinate information is very precise, you're unlikely to need precision to the nearest millimetre!
Aliases
The tpto command can also be used with aliases. Aliases save a location in any dimension to refer to or teleport to later. They can also be set to public for others to use. You can save up to eight aliases by default. Players can also donate for more alias slots - £8 for 8 extra aliases.
- /savealias name - save your current location as an alias with your specified name.
- /savealias name -public - save your location as a public alias, allowing others to see and use it.
- /listalias - show the list of your saved aliases and the distance you are from each one.
- /listalias username - list username's public aliases.
- /copyalias username name - copy username's public name and add it to your aliases.
- /delalias name - delete an alias of a specific name
- /tpto name - teleport to a saved alias location.
- /tpto username name - teleport to username's public alias name.
Aliases can be managed using the control panel here. The control panel is currently disabled.
