Plans for the town:

• Restore  vanishtool’s arch at the entrance of the town
• rebuild the wall
• convert certain builds into a different building style
• connect Vanishtown to a railway system
• build a functioning underground portion of the town
• accept more players into town (after rules are made and wall is built)
• connect VanishTown to United Freedonia via nether roof ice highway with help from Freedonian Ice Highway project

Town Rules

• 1) All houses must have a mailbox on the outside of the house, if you do not build one I will do it for you (feel free to modify it)
• 2) Any house built must be built withing a set plot of land, defined by the bordering pathway.
• 3) Do not build on somebody else’s plot, you may choose to build on whatever plot you like though, as long as it hasn’t yet been claimed, claim a plot simply with a sign saying you've claimed it. You can build on somebody else's plot as long as you have permission from whoever owns it. You may also only have one plot at a time, unless you have permission for multiple.
• 4) your plot may be extended with permission from the town staff if you run out of space. (if you for any reason want your plot to be smaller, feel free to do so without perms from mayor, just do your best to follow the same pattern as the path)
• 5) The town mayor may edit any build within the town, this does not mean it will happen though.
• 6) All buildings must have a sign outside of it stating who owns/built it, if it was built with intentions to be a public building, state that on the sign.
• 7) Try to stick to older architectural styles, no brutalism or modernism
• 8) No stealing from vaults (stealing from open chests is allowed) don't even enter vaults, even if they're only guarded by a button.
• 9) Write your name in the book of vanishtown residents, or on the 'residents' section of the Vanishtown wiki. In writing your name you are confirming that you agree to the rules. (you don’t need permission to join, just writing your name is perfect). When entering your name as a resident, please type your exact username
• 10) Do not modify/obstruct the path without permission
• 11) No pvp without consent from both parties (unless it is to prevent/delay the breaking of rules)
• 12) Don't kill or steal any pets (including any mob(s) a player may claim as their own)
• 13)properly light your plot and any buildings you make/are built on any of your plots
• 14) no buildings over y=128 without the permission of the mayor

(town staff are not allowed to edit builds unless they have permission from the mayor, unless it's a grief, or you've given permission for them to do so. They are allowed to create new plots as long as it follows the grid)

Town History

VanishTown is a town created by  VanishTool along with  IHasToes on The 20th of February in the year of our Lord 2021. It was later taken over by  vindieselgasLLC in November 2021, to be taken back by  psychovis. Some of the residents are: .  Vanishtool was later banned following the discovery of him being an alt account of  SailBird/ AyeMB, after which the current mayor ( Psychovis) was ruled the new mayor by default.  Psychovis was at one point banned by  1235_john after being accused of griefing. In the time that the ban was in effect,  vindieselgasLLC took over Vanishtown. During this time,  vindieselgasLLC Changed the name of the city to Vintown, destroyed the wall, built a public farm, built a town hall, connected Vanishtown via boat link, and likely more. After  Psychovis was unbanned, she took Vanishtown back, being the rightful mayor, and seeing that  vindieselgasLLC had been offline for more than 200 days.  Psychovis gave the town its former name, and is in the process of reverting most of  vindieselgasLLC's changed in an effort to give them a better appearance, or make them more convenient.  Psychovis is also in the process of rebuilding the wall, this time with more space as to not halt the growth of Vanishtown.

20th of February in the year of our Lord 2021

The town was founded on by  VanishTool. On that day the users  IHasToes,  Selimbits,  CavyX,  Mechman007,  Helpimdeadinside,  r9q,  Chromaticals, and  Prince__Valiant joined in that order.

 1235_John at one point went into a blind rage, attemping to kill  VanishTool. In the attempt to kill  VanishTool, he became so enraged that, while moderator  Mechman007 was watching, 1235_John attempted to use ender pearls to glitch into  VanishTool's house. He received a warning for the matter, as he was breaking one of the 3 rules of the server (cheating), and quit after. After the attempt,  VanishTool appeared paranoid, and began talk of fortifying the town. This later started the construction of the original town wall, now torn down by  vindieselgasLLC, and rebuild with much larger borders by  Psychovis

21st of February in the year of our Lord 2021

 Gimli016,  TyggerPVP,  Notmore1,  VindieselgasLLC join the town. A wall is created by  Vanishtool and  IHasToes to fortify the town against any further attacks. A public nether portal is created by  Vanishtool.

22nd of February in the year of our Lord 2021

 Chromaticals creates a public fountain that serves as the town's main water supply.

23rd of February in the year of our Lord 2021

 Palindrome7 joins the town, and brings the secrets of fire with him lighting the eternal torch.  1Catnip begins talks of connecting Montegaux to VanishTown via road.

24th of February in the year of our Lord 2021

 VanishTool connects the town nether portal to Newport.

25th of February in the year of our Lord 2021

 _Maxington_ and  ItFernando join the town.

After Takover

After  vanishtool was banned following the discovery of his ban evasions in May 2021, and the inactivity of  Psychovis, the town was inactive up until November of the same year.  vindieselgasLLC had a fondness for town, since he had built his first house here, and that very town kept him active on the server. During November in the year of our lord 2021, Vanishtown was suddenly brought up amid a conversation with friends. The town was very clearly a ghost town, with the first structure built in said town having been previously destroyed, which upset him.  vindieselgasLLC later decided to ‘take over’ Vanishtown, declaring it on the central sign board. With that, he destroyed the town’s wall, build a community mine, a town hall, and a community farm, opened up plots, and connected Vanishtown to the nearest road. After a while,  vindieselgasLLC stopped playing, and abandoned Vanishtown.

• • in destroying the town wall,  VindieselgasLLC was technically unknowingly griefing. While he had permission from  AlphaAlex115 to destroy anything placed by  VanishTool,  VanishTool was not the only one to build the wall, with  Psychovis being the other person with full permissions to it.

 psychovis Rejoined MCO for the first time in nearly a year. She came with motivation to bring back a town she had long since abandoned, and hence reclaimed the town.  vindieselgasLLC had already been offline for over 200 days since that point in time, meaning there would be no conflict in doing so.
