"a city in the clouds...durrr" -  SnappyMuppetman

Cloud City is an entirely floating city. It was originally built above NewVenice, but was moved due to  crystalriver's request. It now is under construction in the middle of the ocean that surrounds NewHaven. The new construction job began on April 26, 2013. The original Cloud City was extremely small compared to the new one, which is already much larger than it. Currently, the only way of accessing it is by teleporting to  GeekyCreeper while he is working, or by boat. A teleport pad will hopefully be put in place soon. Cloud City is being built with the intention of being the largest, and safest place to live on Freedonia. The city has a small government, consisting of a mayor and a city council. A more extensive description of Cloud City's government can be seen below.

Timeline (New Cloud City)

NOTE: Only IMPORTANT dates are shown, due to  crazyrecieve's request.

• 26 April, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper chooses the location for the new Cloud City. He places the first block of the city and starts to build the cloud.
• 27 April, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper continues expanding the cloud for a lengthy period of time. By the end of the day, it is already larger than the original cloud.
• 29 April, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper continues expanding the cloud. A deal is made with  tonyisbeast that prevents the city from reaching being built over his home, which is the closest structure to the city. Construction begins on the warp area, the first structure of Cloud City.
• 30 April, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper continues expanding the cloud. He finishes the warp area.  SlowRiot promises to come visit the city a soon as he has time.  GeekyCreeper adds a boat route, making Cloud City publicly accessible.  Excalibur_NUMNUM volunteers to build Cloud City's Visitor Centre. A space is reserved for him, that he can use whenever he is ready to start.
• 01 May, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper works alongside  TEllins,  Draoga, and user  tonyisbeast to build some new structures and to redecorate the city. The City Council hall and the Visitor Tower are built.  TEllins requests permission to build the Visitor Center, instead of  Excalibur_NUMNUM, and  GeekyCreeper gives her permission. Construction on it begins. The first two residents move in:  GeekyCreeper and  TEllins. They start to build their dwellings.  crazyrecieve buys the first plot and builds Crazy's House of Hate.
• 02 May, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper discusses city matters with  TEllins and  thesprazzzler. They decide on a couple of matters and discuss ideas.  Blobehh teaches  GeekyCreeper a more efficient way of building the cloud using Craftbook.  nd27359 volunteers to build a mob grinder in the city. He also wishes to build a public farm.  GeekyCreeper agrees and sets up a plot for the new grinder.
• 03 May, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper works with  Blobehh to expand the cloud further. A new public restaurant is opened by  Violet_Apathy). A public utility room opens along with the now-completed visitor center.
• 04 May, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper builds the Public Head Gallery.
• 05 May, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper expands the cloud and sells new plots to  xArches,  Simmuel,  ardoom1, and  winx51.  xArches builds herself a house,  Simmuel builds himself a house, and  ardoom1 builds a structure. It is discovered that  Palindrome7 has built a cloud right next to Cloud City, which  GeekyCreeper will build around and will be incorporated into Cloud City.
• 09 May, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper gets very little done. He does manage to expand the cloud slightly, however. He reserves  nd27359's Mob Grinder plot for his IRL friend,  bmt0987. He also reserves a plot for  JOHUK21, another IRL friend.
• 11 May, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper gets very little done. He does manage to expand the cloud slightly, however. He also goes to a party with  SlowRiot,  stromhurst,  crazyrecieve,  bubba_basti,  Menmeth,  twinchicken86, and  robbybnonelikeme. There was dancing, and everyone got drunk. Then, a murderer appeared, and few survived.  GeekyCreeper luckily did.
• 12 May, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper makes his grand return. He starts a major expansion of the cloud. The expansion would add a lot more real estate to the city.
• 18 May, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper builds the Public Fungeon. He also adds more land to the cloud.
• 06 June, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper begins a secret project, while  charlesrinehard moves to the city and donates a massive amount of items to the city.
• 07 June, 2013 -  charlesrinehard is appointed as the General of the Cloud City Army. The secret project is revealed by  GeekyCreeper to be an Army Base for the new Cloud City military. More work continues on the Military Base.
• 08 June, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper enlists  Blobehh to assist with the Military base. He perfect the redstone machinery with Craftbook, and begins making enemy-proof doors, which will prevent invasion of the base.  GeekyCreeper builds a noob trap tower called the "Fun Room." The city is visited by God-donor  jonathanpanda, who takes a tour of it. He also lets  GeekyCreeper try out his Lightning-sword.  broncoskip also visits and spawns mobs all over the cloud.  44trent3 moves to the city.  Krenath visits and gives  GeekyCreeper enough quartz to fill the ocean. With his visit, this sets a all-time high of 3 God donors that have visited the city in one day, and a total of 4 God donors that have visited. The fourth God donor to visit was  Acsidol, whose visit was sadly unrecorded and lost in history. Only a few eyewitnesses still remember it.  GodlyCheeze suggests that  GeekyCreeper builds separate clouds, and builds bridges to connect them, using the quartz that  Krenath gave him.  GeekyCreeper begins to plot out the new clouds.
• 09 June, 2013 -  GeekyCreeper destroys the old Road System, and begins Project Cloud Universe, a network of color-coded Clouds that all interconnect by bridge with Cloud City. The project was created by  GodlyCheeze. Cloud City serves as the hub for the project, and the city will still continue to use the name Cloud City.  crazyrecieve attacks the city, but is fought back by  GeekyCreeper,  TEllins,  thesprazzzler,  Blobehh, and  charlesrinehard. He kills  charlesrinehard, but everyone else on the attacking force survives. He retreats and without any struggle.  charlesrinehard is enlisted to Project Cloud Universe, and the first bridge is built by  GeekyCreeper.  charlesrinehard starts the first cloud, which is named "District Purple."  GeekyCreeper starts the second bridge.

 crazyrecieve has been declared a public threat to safety and sanity. If seen in Cloud City, either avoid him, or if you are brave, kill him. Good luck with that though! He is FAST, which makes it difficult for the Cloud City militia to attack. Beware!

Boat Directions

• Warp to NewHaven using the command /warp newhaven
• Turn to the left 90 degrees
• Walk straight for a couple of blocks, and then turn right.
• Follow the bridge until you see a wool pole with steps.
• Jump off of the bridge onto the steps.
• Follow the signs until you find the boat dock.
• Place a boat in the water.
• Follow the white wool poles until you reach a wool platform.
• Grab boat and hop onto the platform.
• Use elevator on the wool platform.
• Poof! You have reached Cloud City!
• Do a victory dance! Oppa Gangnam Style!
